I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was fifteen. And we only broke up eight days ago.

I say wait until you are mature enough to understand what a real relationship is. Probably no earlier than 15. I had a friend who is 13 date two guys who both broke up with her because they realized they weren't ready. And really, I feel kind of like she wasn't either. If you try to have a serious relationship at a younger age, it mostly ends in pain.

Teens aren't meant to date, we're to young and restless. Have fun now, date later on.

Like Hannibal said, I think teens should start dating when they can understand and be responsible about it. Maturity is a big thing. Wether it be 14, 15, 16, or even 19. However, anyone younger than 14, I feel doesn't have the maturity thing set right and the responsibility thing down. I may be wrong with some, but Im right with others.

I agree with Hannibal. Date someone not based on selfish needs like the mindset that "you need a relationship," but rather that you are ready for a relationship.
