My parents rule is sixteen. I am fine with this, and I actually like this. I don't see any need to rush into dating now. Sixteen is an age that I would feel/ comfortable with. (Just turned fifteen)

Personally, and by my own choice, I'm not gonna' date until I'm 16 I'm not even going to allow myself to be kissed until then.  I did go out with a guy when I was 13 but I felt...well...nothing really, I just don't think I'll be able to "love" just yet.  The way I see it is when you first go out, its not love, its lust,  which to me is confusing but it also in a way makes perfect sense. So like yeah thats my opinion. :-)

I'm older than 16 and I've been on one casual date. I'd like to go on more casual dates, but I'm not looking for any serious relationships until later. :) Not dating until 16 worked well enough for me. I had friends who got into messy relationships when they were 14 and 15, there was some immaturity and I wouldn't reccommend dating before 16. No offense to anyone who has.

Yeah, I think I agree with u. If u date when ur too young, then, if u break up, it can get awkard, especially if u go to the same school. thanks for ur comment!!

Personally I have never told my family about me dating, not even to this day. I don't think my parents ever had an age, so it never mattered. I just never felt comofrtable bringing the boy home to meet my family.
I think at fourteen is a good age, even though I started younger than that. By fourteen you are mature enough to understand and make wise decisions. But it's not really great dating, it's not like the movies. Believe me you are not missing anything! My boyfriend since Feb 7th and I have ot been on any dates but he says we are dating.

Thanks for ur comment, and I have a question. If u don't go on any dates with your boyfriend, then, what do u guys do together, and what's your reason to date? I'm just curious :)

My mom, is ok with dating anyone who is logically ok. He doesnt have to perfect, just respect my family & dont be stupid c: If she trusts you, she should do the same

You should be at least 16, before then you don't really know what you're getting into. And even after your 16 you still don't know what you're doing. I say that you should wait until your 16 and when you go on dates they should always be group dates. Plus group dates are way more fun, rather than just two people.
