Sounds like your firends are delightful. ;) Have you ever seen "The Green Mile" ? I'm reading the book now, and it's really really good. It's about prison and execution by means of electric chair. Chilling, but entertaining.
No don't think I've seen it. I'm weird about movies, I've got about 25 favourites that I watch all the time but I never really watch any others. I really need to start watching more films.
Haha, I guess so. :) The details of this book get so gory... it talks about one of the people catching fire because they forgot to put water on his head before the exocution. It gives me the goosebumps...
I don't really read much like that...got a major fear of blood and stuff like that. Hunger Games is gory enough for me haha. I'm re reading the Harry Potter books now (for about the 30th time). I've got an idea or a story were I write the battle of hogwarts and some other scenes from Voldemorts persective.
That's so cool! When I was younger I always tried to do stuff like that- once I wanted to rewrite the grinch from Lucy-Lou-Who's perspective. Never anything as sophistocated as what you're doing, though. You could really make a statement by doing this, good luck!
Thank you! Hopefully I should be able to start it soon - at the minute I'm writing something for English about a girl whose brother died in 9/11 and she is writing letters to him. You see, I wanted to write about 9/11 since thats the reason MCR started.
That's so sweet! You should post that story to the e- it sounds really good.
*site, not e
I'm going to when it's finished. I've only got one letter left to write and then I'm writing a shorter version from the brothers perspective for homework - it should be finished by the end of the week hopefully.
I can't believe what I've let myself in for though - my friend that scared me off a chair is meeting the friend that locked me in the tack room with a chicken on thursday...they'll probably come up with new ways to annoy me. Anyways...should be interesting.
Haha, yeah. Good luck. My froend always terrorizes me by randomly lofting my chair up while I'm in it..... I swear, I have post-traumatic-stress-disorder from the chair ceremony at my Bat Mitzvah. :)
*friend, not froend
*lifting, not lofting
Sorry I haven't replied in ages, my laptop decided it didn't like the site for some reason. School has been soooo annoying lately. I've done five exams in the past two days then I've got english, french, geography and history on friday :( And we're choosing our GCSE subjects a year early :( Anyway...enough complaining about school...Thursday was fun, I got locked in the tack room with a chicken again haha. I can't even sit down on a chair likely to flip over while my friends around so I know how you feel haha.
I know how you feel- I've got end of year exams next week. Remind me again what GCSE stands for? Sorry, American newbie here. :) Tests are going to be really strange this year for me. They have a new thing where you write extended responses instead of multiple choice, and we won't get the results back until next year. Anyway, I guess I shouldn't worry too much about that. I've been getting really into writing short stories, and I have a lot of ideas. It's hard to keep up with. :)
I'm not sure what it stands for to be honest, they're just the exams 15 and 16 year olds take in their lat year of school, but for some reason my school i changing it so we do more one year courses over three years - so I'll be taking most of my exams next year when I'm 14.
Wish I could do multiple choice tests, almost all of mine are at least a few sentences but normally a couple of paragraphs. You should post some of your stories on here when they're finished, I wish I could write more lately but can't think of that many ideas and I've gone slightly crazy trying to choose my options for GCSEs :)
I'm planning on posting them- if I can find the time to finish writing them. My shool bell schedule is really strange. We start at 9:15, and end at 4:15. Inwish we could go back to havong school early again. This schedule doesn't leave any time for after school activities. I guess there's not much to do about it but fake smile until high school... which is what everyone does. :)
My school starts at 8:45 an finishes at 3:30, but after half term this academy trust thing is taking over (reason I'm doing my GCSEs a year early) so we'll start at 8:25 and finish at 2:30!! :) More time to listen to MCR :) I'm sure I saw Mikey Way driving down my street yesterday too!?!?!
Oh my gosh!!!! Are you sure? What happened? You're a writer- I want details! ;)
Hey!! Sorry I haven't replied in ages, haven't been on TI in months
