I'm beginning to get sick of the music I have. So I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions. And if you put bands, could you suggest some songs by those bands that could start me off with getting into them.
Thanks so much (:

I'm not sure what type of music you're into, so I'll give you some bands/artists from all kinds of genres! c:
Jack Johnson -- All his songs are great.
Jason Mraz -- His best song, in my opinion, is "Wordplay".
Mumford & Sons -- I'm sure you've heard of them. They sing "The Cave" and "Little Lion Man". Both GREAT songs.
Rufus Wainwright -- Rules and Regulations, April Fool's...Great songs. He has an interesting voice.
Snow Patrol -- "Chasing Cars" is amazing.
Queen -- They're just lovable. All of their songs are great.
MGMT -- "Kids" is an amazing song.
Kate Nash -- Her songs are really cool. She has an accent, so it makes her music sound that much better. Listen to "Skeleton Song".
Vampire Weekend -- If I could, I'd list every single one of their songs. They're amazing!
Peter Gabriel -- "Sledgehammer" or "Shock the Monkey"...He's 80's, but he's amazing.
Laura Izibor -- "Shine" is the best song ever.
Well, that's just a few amazing artists. I'd give you more, but I don't want to be overwhelming. ;)

I mostly listen to 60s/70s rock/funk/soul.
The Beatles: all time BEST rock band. They went through some phases. Good examples of their work are Help, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Let It Be.
The 5th Dimension: My fav of their songs is Age of Aquarius.
The Mamas and The Papas: They were a folk/pop/soul group with a tiny bit of rock mixed in. They did such classics as Monday Monday and California Dreamin'.
The Temptations: A perfect example of good honest Motown soul. My fav of theirs is
Just My Imagination.

Oh and don't forget (like I just did) The Rolling Stones. My fav of theirs is Satifaction.

Or, you could try one of the Beatle's many inspirations, the Beach Boys. Their biggest hit song (and one of their best) is probably Good Vibrations, so that'd be a good place to start.
