It seems a lot of fans that like MCR's older albums don't like Danger Days. why is that? I like all their albums though I am definitely happy they've gone in a happier direction with their music

I like both the old and new. I guess those fans like something about the old music that isn't present in the new stuff. The sounds are different, so that may be it. It's a matter of personal preference I guess.

I like you, love mcr but i do like their black parade album better than their newer one. For me it's because on the black parade album I could emotionally connect with and greive with them. Another part of it is, is that my grandpa died of cancer and that whole album is basically the lead singer going through watching one of his realtives go through cancer, and I could relate to the emotions of it. But don't get me wrong, I still love danger days.

I love the old albums from MCR, but I had a little trouble getting to know the 'newer' sort of verison of them. I'm super glad Gerard's happy and has found a new 'muse' other than death and revenge but I sort of miss the old stuff. I mean, Danger Days is an amazing album that makes me think about the troubles in the world and makes me want to sing/dance along as well but so did all of the older albums. I like them all equally.

I really like all of them, but I did listen to Danger Days first so I like it a bit more than the older ones. They're all so diferent though that I don't really compare them that much.

I love MCR, and I've loved all there music, but nothing they have ever written can be compared to their first album I brought you my bullets, you brough me your love. Out of all there albums this was the one were you felt Gerards raw power. Danger Days is a good album and it's really happy and exciting, but to lots of fans the older stuff will always be the best.

I love Danger Days, because it's MCR, and everything they do has a meaning and reflects what they're going through at the time. Sweet Revenge and Black Parade will forever be my favorites musically though.
