Happiness.
It seems to drive everyone. It’s what we all want to achieve. It’s the cure-all that’ll change your life.
But what is it? Solid? Liquid? Intangible? Is it a state of mind or a destination? Is it enough to just pretend I’m happy and expect real happiness to follow?
It’s not working.
What’s left to do?
I’ll throw infinite amounts of coins in wishing wells. I’ll have my mouth permanently fixed in a smile. I’ll forever be that bubbly, happy girl.
On the outside, anyway.
Passion? Passion will lead me to happiness? Passion frustrates me, greatly complicates things.
What if I stopped feeling? Just for a moment. Blocked out every sound, sight, smell, sense, emotion, thought.
I’ll be unsuccessful.
Because once I stop feeling anything, it will be impossible to ever feel happiness.

Happiness is the feeling of contentment with joy.
Happiness has to be made, you have to create it within and not just simply expect. You have to believe it's out there and go get it. You can't just stand there and expect it to come, you have to act apon your want and thirst for it and grab it at the core.
Happiness is felt with the heart, not the head. So keep your heart open and keep your eyes on the look out .

It's like a dr,ug, isn't it. Like the feeling of ecstacy. We spend our lives looking for it, chasing it. We all just want it. We all just want to be happy. When we're not happy, we do bad things. We always have to be blissed-out on happiness to be good, it seems. And passion. I agree. Passion is not happiness. But not feeling won't help. It'll just not let you feel happiness or despair. Is the point of life feeling happiness? Chasing after it like a d,rug addict? Is that what the master plan is, is that why we are self aware and different? Just so we can chase after something that can never fully be achieved? Is enlightenment finding total happiness that never stops? Why are we here. Why do we understand so much but yet so little? Why give us enough to see what we want, but not enough to achieve it? Why let us catch a glimpse, if it's something we can never have? To keep us forever yearning? There can be no real desepair without hope. Is that why? So we can understand despair? To torture us? We can see it, we want it, we yearn and need it, but we can't achieve it. Why, whatever higher power that may or may not be, why do that to us? Are we supposed to live lives trying to ignore how much we want to KNOW, how much we want to understand WHY, but knowing the only thing we really do know: that we never can. Or are we supposed to spend our lives trying to know, trying as hard as we can, but as our lives end knowing that it's never enough? That will we never understand and see and be as we want to be? Why give us vision, let us understand a miniscule bit, enough to let us want, but not enough for us to understand? Why can we want, but not know? Is it your holy plan to torture your creations, whatever is out there? Give us a glimpse of understanding and knowing, the only way to really BE, the only thing to make us whole, and hold it just from our reach? Why? I just want to know what is real and good. I want to get away from lies and acting. Why can't I know?

Happiness is an illusion that just brainwashes anyone who even tries to be happy.
