Okay, so now that October has begun, I've realized that November isn't really that far away. And for all you crazy writers out there, November means NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month. 50,000 words in 30 days. I tried it last year. I failed so miserably I don't even want to talk about it. But, this year, I will do it... hopefully. So who else on here is going to do it with me? What are you going to write your novel about? Any ideas for others? Let's discuss...

I'm not sure yet, but i'm thinking of writing a backstory for my character Belphegor, demoness of Sloth.
She later needs a host (human body) to survive, which she finds in Zander, the main character of many of my stories.

I'm thinking of doing it, but I'm not quite sure. November tends to be the busiest month if the year for me :/. I sorta have an idea in mind, so I might do a loose version of NaNoWriMo

I'm totally doing it, unless my wrists start bothering me like they did last year. :/
Been playing around with story ideas, too. :) In 2010 I got to about 25,000 before my mom grounded me from NaNoWriMo so that I'd do my homework XD (I'm homeschooled)

I'm going to try! Last year was an epic fail. As I only got a few hundred words. But I am going to try plotting it out this year . . . so I actually have an idea of waht I'm doing. Good luck everyone!

I only did the YA version last year and I only got 10,000 words plus it was a story I already started. I think I might work on a real Nanowrimo this year.

That was my age last year. XD I'm in the ywp again this year, but I'm aiming for the regular goal. I like ywp because they have a stats page that suggests how many words a day to write and that really helps me.

The normal nanowrimo site I was on tells you how much to write too, and has a graph showing where you are compared to where you would be ideally and it adjusts how many words per day depending on how much you've written so that you can meet the 50,000 goal (:

Oh, that's exactly like the ywp stats page! I guess I could just never find it. I didn't look very hard. The ywp site is colorful and easy to navigate and the forums are similar to the TI ones.

Yeah I noticed it last year... Three days before it was over. I'm on both YWP and the regular site, but I really only check the regular site. I really don't know why I; probably should. Actually, I should probably check to make sure I remember my login first...

I'm kinda on the regular site too, but like I said, I don't like it.
