((That's fine, feel free to post as much as you want))

Cassandra followed behind Alexis as she limped in side, muttering about the unfairness of being unable to fight.

"Alexis," Cassandra called just as the girl was about to disappear back into her own quarters, "Tomorrow night, do you, well, you know, want to fight together?" Cassandra said it in an offhand, casual way, but they both knew that offering someone to fight with you was a big move.

Alexis was a little shocked, but pleased at the proposal, "Of course Cassandra, I would love the chance to show you how it's done," she joked, smiling.

Cassandra grinned back, "Just as long as you remember we're still enemies, ok?" but the way in which she said it implied that Alexis's status as an enemy was no more.

Alexis wondered into bed and the moment she hit the pillow she was out.

((That's ok, hope it goes away soon!))

Alexis awoke the next morning, her thigh throbbing and her head punding from a vicious headache. She crawled out of bed, grabbed an aspirin from one of the draws of her nightstand, and headed for a shower.

She let the cool water wash over her wounded thigh and soothe her aching body. Just as she was getting dressed in skinny denim jeans, sneakers and an old faded t-shirt, she heard a knock on the door. This wasn't just any knock though, it was a heavy pounding that shocked her.

"Hold on a second," Alexis called, pulling on her shirt and hurrying to the door.
