I heard the menacing scream that echo for what seemed like an eternity. How had this happened? This was not what I had wanted, but now here I was, trapped.
I couldn't a mile in front of my face. The piercing wails caused my ears to bleed. All hope of being saved seemed to fly down that bottomless pit. I should have listened to my brother when he was scolding me, perhaps then I wouldn't have these rusty shackles round my wrists.
