I submitted a poem called Blood Bath some week ago. I noticed that when it appeared on the site it said it was by Anonymous. I don't remember submitting it so. I email the editors to fix this. (But I haven't received a reply.) So that my "name" can appear as the author of this poem. I don't want to re-submit it, lest I don't receive the Editors' Choice it got as "Anonymous." But I also want people to read my piece. What can I do? I really want this to be fixed. Please, help.

Sometimes, after the editors read a piece, they will decide it is too 'sensitive in nature' for it to be published under the author's name, and make it Anonymous. That is probably what happened to your poem.

I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it. :(

Hi Mckay,

IridescentIndigo is correct, we sometimes will choose to put a piece as anonomous if we think it is of a sensative nature. If you have a problem with it you can write to editor @ teenink . com and request it be changed, but I am not in charge of that and cannot promise they will agree.

Too sensitive in nature. WHAT?! I don't care if it is. I want it under my name. It's a break-up poem. Also, I've submitted this other poem twice. And the same thing keeps happening. If I choose to publish it under my name; that's my choice. Not the Editors. And it must be fixed.

Hi Mckay,

Again, I'm sorry, but there's nothing I personally can do about your situation. ):
Please send an email to the above address to have it taken care of.

Thanks, Mod

Ok, I'll make sure to do so. I already did try it though and received no response. But thank you anyway.
