Hello Alon_Freevoice,

I just checked, there are no replies caught in the filter. It must not have gone through. Also not only curse words get caught in the filter.

Thanks,

Mabye Teen Ink needs to make a few changes to the ' Filter System', because cuss words sometimes are used to emphazise(sp?) the poem / and or/ story. Just saying.  And some things TI filters are just.. ridiculous. Like Ga..y? And Pre.gnant? I mean , come on now!

i agree, i always feel bad when i see my story censored or my comments filtered.  i mean we cant all go around cursing, but most of us TeenInk users know how to behave, and only use those words for their creative liscence

Hi Teen Ink,
I recently got an email saying that my article was on the front page on the Hot Topics page, as a recently submitted article. However, when I looked more closely, it had a magazine badge next to it! This being my first time being published, I was pretty excited!! I have two questions, though. 1. Why did I not get an email saying that my piece had been chosen to be published and 2. When will I get info regarding which issue and such? Thanks for your help.

I posted a piece of work which wasn't neccasarily my absolute best. Is that OK? I mean, it's been edited and sutff- it's not a work in progress. Adittionally, I feel that even my best work can always do with feedback because I'm still developing and improving. Can we not submit stuff we still hope to improve someday?

Squadge:
Funny, but true, You can post your work that isn't your best. Since there is always room for improvement so if your works needs it, you have to improve it then republish it (after deleting the first one) or publishing it with the title made longer by adding: Revised version. That's how it works. Don't delete them, go for the revised version thingummy,
Cheers

Hello,
I am trying to make a novel and I have a little trouble with number 2.
It says to select an image for my book cover, but there is no place to put the image or a button that says 'browse'  to look for images through my computer.

If there is a way that I do not have to submit a photo on my book, or if there is a way to put an image on the cover, it would be greatly appreaciated if you could tell me. I have looked all over the internet for an answer and I cannot find one. Please answer back quickly!

Thanks!
