Hello, I'm new here. This year, teachers told me I basically go above and beyond on any essay or creative writing assignment. They say I have a really strong writer's voice. So, one day a teacher told me to check this site out. Most of my writing is school assignments, but I've also been keeping an extensive diary for about a year now. Most of my writing is opinion and non-fiction.
I do A LOT of reading, by the way, moreso than I watch TV and movies or play video games. I read about 30 books last year with lengths of 200-1200 pages, which isn't bad when you consider that the average american adult hardly reads one outside of school. I'm not trying to denounce those uninterested in books, but that statistic honestly scares me.
