in almost anything, I have really strong opinions.
i can argue almost any teacher to death, i have pretty harsh opinions on stephanie myers, and don't get me started on gun control.
but when it comes to clothes, i'm so pathetic! it's embarrassing, srsly.
like, when scrunchies and big glasses started coming back in, i scoffed it like everyone else. and i look in the mirror now, i'm wearing big geeky classes and though i haven't submitted to The Scrunchi Threat yet, i'm tempted more and more each day.
it's horrible. midcalf? i would never have stepped into midcalf two years ago.
well... i won't mention my awesome midcalf skirt now.
someone please comfort me and tell me that i'm not the only one who falls for what's In every, single, freaking time
I personally have never once gone for what's "in", I've never even worn makeup or done anything with my hair. But, even with that being said, I don't think you should be upset for going for what's "in" but you should be aware that you don't have to fit in with anyone else. "Fitting in" in my opinion is like being cattle, all going the same way, dare to be different and I promise it will be better.
hey, I don't wear make-up either!
As an orthodox Jew, I actually have to dress very covered up but even amongst us, there's the ins and the outs. and it's not like i'm doing it conciounsly, to "be cool", its really subconcious because I honestly begin to like scrunchies.
oh the evils of peer pressure ;)
I have always worn midcalf skirts and scrunchies. I never knew those were "out." I don't have any scrunchies right now, but I've been wearing them for as long as I can remember. I probably got that from my oldest sister, who is 30, and they were probably more popular when she was a kid.
I really don't care what other people think about fashion. I don't care if everyone else is wearing shorts the size of underwear, or shirts that barely hold their b.oobs in. I'm not gonna do it. I'm going to wear what I want to wear, even if that is a top hat and a neon green plaid button down shirt (both of which I have btw).
Personally, I won't wear any pants that don't at least reach my knees. I won't even wear one-piece swimsuits anymore. Last year I got a new swimsuit, and part of it is actually just exersize pants that go past my knees. XD I also won't wear low-rise pants. People shouldn't be able to see other people's underwear.
One thing I don't understand. All those people I see lately who are wearing really big socks on their heads. I mean, really. WHY?
have you been paying attention to anything i've been saying?
tsk, tsk, i fear not.
those socks on the heads are apparently cool.
do not ask.
