So what do you guys think of showing a lot of skin? I love it. I think that as long as my underwear and, uh, lady parts aren't showing, showing skin is great. We all have bodies, there is no reason to be ashamed. People have ridiculed me for wearing "revealing clothes", and think it automatically makes me slu.tty or wanting attention, but the truth is I just like wearing what I wear for me. I could care less if no one ever looks at me ever again. Fashion is about what the individual person thinks looks best or is the most fun at the moment. I have no problem wearing really low cut shirts, or backless shirts and dresses, micro mini skirts, and short shorts. I think that showing underwear is trashier then showing skin.
I agree. Showing your skin doesn't make you a sl.ut, it just means you like those clothes. Showing skin shouldn't matter as long as you're comfortable in what you wear, and you at least cover up the things no one needs to see
Well, I'm probably the only guy that would ever look at a Fashion sub forum on a writer's website, so I suppose I get to be the unanimous guy vote here :P
I think it's fine, as long as it's not outright indecent like you said, *cough* n.ipples *cough*
However, interestingly enough I've been seeing an increasing trend of guys showing more and more skin lately. I'm 16, so maybe it's just my age group, but short shorts and tight fitting are very much in style now (if you have the body like I do :P).
I think what we're seeing is that society has gotten to the point where we're objectifying guys as well.
ANYWAYS, I got kinda off topic.
You could wear clothes that show a lot of skin, but I do not know what other people would think of you. As long as you do not care what others think, go for it!
Depending on the amount of skin, and where it is (obviously), I think it's fine. I love the human body, as a work of art, as a canvas. This, however, interferes with some of my no-objectification rules... guess I'll have to think a bit more
