okay i have a very cute dress that my mommy bought me last winter but i never got the opportunity to wear. it is black, tight fitted at the hips and flowy around the top. is it odd to wear black to homecoming since it is a kind of winter color? mom says i should find a new brighter dress, but she's old so i need an opinion from my peers :]

replied...I don't think it's weird. I think if everyone's wearing bright colors you shuld wear something different. Plus, if you like the dress, who cares?
That's not weird at all. In fact, it's normal. The majority of the girls at my high school wear tight black dresses to homecoming; the brighter, longer dresses are for prom. Hope this helps, and have a fun time! :)
