Tattoos. Good or Bad?

I hate tribal tattoos. They're fu.cking stupid. It's liek, "You're not in a tribe. Pretty sure nobody invited you to belong in one. Stop it."
I love tattoos, though. I feel like if you're willing to put some epic art on your body and you have the cash; go for it.

tattoo's are a perminant form of art, they can be removed from laser surgy but that is expensive, but i think if there is a reason for a tattoo, not just because thye look nice, if they tell a story, something about you or friends, family or loved ones.
i beleive tattoos are the best thing for this

Personally, I like when guys have tattoos wrapped around their arm, and when girls have them either on upper back or a small symbol like a heart of yin yang on their ankle. But I would not, under any circumstance, recommend getting one. My aunt got one and said it was by far THE MOST EXCRUCIATING, PAINFUL THING SHE HAS EVER FELT IN HER LIFE. 'Nuff said.

AWESOME! as soon as I'm 18  I'm going to get at least one - perhaps a dragon or a tiger...

I think some tattoos with meaning are beautiful but just a bunch of gross stuff all over the entire body isn't that attractive in my opinion...

I think tattoos can be beautiful, but there is a health risk incolved that not many people seem to know about, getting a tattoo CAN give you a serious infection, my friend's dad who is a surgeon actually had to replace someone's heart valve because of it. :| That is the reason i will never get a tattoo. It's fine if you really want to commit to it and understand the risks.

I like tattoos if they have meaning to them.

of course its personal taste, i will definitely get some meaningful ones once i can. just an interesting fact, but you can get tattoos that only show in certain types of light, which could be helpful depending on what your career is, or if you just hate permanance. :)

I personally like tattoos, but it's mostly a personal preference thing. If you don't like tattoos, good for you, don't get one. I definitely want to get a tattoo(s) when I get older but of course I'm going to think about it; I know it's on for good and I'm fine with that. If you know what you're getting into and you still want to, go for it.

Viridian: If you take care of the tattoo properly when it is still new then you should be safe. Infection just happens when you don't take proper care of it I guess.

I'm hesitant about tattoos; for one thing, they'll probably be a part of you forever.  Sure, you can use special concealer or you can get them painfully removed, but if I got a tattoo, I would be extremely sure that I want exactly what is being put on my body.  I don't quite understand why someone would want to use his or her body as a canvas, or actually let someone put needles in them, I guess.

Tattoos are amazing if the are done properly. Its just a matter of finding one that suits your personality or that has some kind of a meaning to you. Overall they are incredibly artsy and interesting :)

If you think tatoos are great, then you believe they are great. You don't really need our opinion, because if you really want one, but don't get it, you'll live life regretting it, always wishing you got one.
My advice is that if you do get one is that you aren't drunk while you get it. Because you might get a tattoo you'll always regret. Like an astranout (did i spell that correct?) placing an American flag on your bum or your full moon, or maybe Woodstock on your lower back.
Also never get someone's name that you're dating til they become your spouse otherwise they'll become your ex and that will be awkward.

Personally, I love tattoos. I think when they are done right they can look amazing. They can either mean something alot to you or just simply look nice. Currently, I dont have any yet, but I want at least three (:

I love tattoos so much!!!! I find them really beautiful and artistic, so many people tell me that the tattoos I want will make me cringe in the future and that I'll regret them. I don't listen to them though, if I am getting this tattoo it must mean that I am going to like it for a long time, plus it means that I was going through something in that point of life. For example, I want "Never Give In" tattooed on my left wrist because somedays I want to give in but it reminds me that I shouldn't because my future will be great.
I also want the quote from Gerard Way "Stay Beautiful
Keep It Ugly" with three small birds ( the same design of the ones Tris got tattooed in Divergent) leading down to my heart. The birds represent my family memebers: me, my Dad and my Mom. The quote represents that even though things can be ugly or hard at times I have to "stay beautiful" and tough it out.
That's my views of tattoos, sorry if anyone disagrees :)

It really just depends. I've always been told that they're the worst things in the world, that people who wear them are bikers and rebels and bad, bad people -
All wrong of course. I feel like if there's some form of art you want on your body, you should be allowed to get it. I would only get one if it was truly, sincerely meaningful to me, but that doesn't mean if you want to spontaneously get one you shouldn't :) All a matter of opinion
