"Sorry". He said to her. "I'll write a note next time"
"I'd like that." She smiled, then paused. "Did you takethe medicine I got you?"
Will nodded. "Just one" he said, "arm is a little numb, but I'm fine. You eat the breakfast?"
"I did. Thank you." She smiled slightly.
"It's nothing. Anything else you need?" He asked, looking at her
"I'm good." Miranda smiled at him. "Did you eat?"
"No, but I'm good" he said, happy she she looked glad. "Just bored, let's go get some action, shall we?" He asked with a smile.
She rolled her eyes but was quick to nod. "Let me grab my jacket."
"What ever you say, Miranda" Will said. He watched her as she grabbed the jacket. Her figure moving gracefully, her smile, probably the most wonderful thing he saw. "Ready?" He asked
"Ready." She nodded as she pulled her jacket on, zipping it up and flipping on the hood.
"Then let's bounce, girl" he said, walking out. "Any thing you want or need to do?" He asked her, flipping the hood up on his own jacket
"Nope. I'm ready to go. And I'll be carrying the gun this time." Miranda said, giving him a look.
Will laughed and handed her the pistol. "Why, you think I'm trigger happy."
"No. I'm just a better shot." She said, the corner of her mouth twitching up into a smile.
"Whatever you say" Will said, smiling. "Let's move on then, next town, I guess". He started at a brisk jog, wondering about those guys that were following him.
Miranda checked the safety on the gun before shoving it into the waistband of her jeans, feeling it press snugly against Her lower back. She started to follow Will quietly, jogging rather than sprinting to preserve energy.
Will cautiously watched the area, looking for those thugs. If they came close, he would fight them. He didn't trust them. Every once in a while, he would look at Miranda, making sure she was ok. She was in great shape, easily staying with him.
