A casual rp about the daily issues of three friends in high school (gender doesn't matter). Will their friendship last, envolve or become a rivalry?
Three main spots for the friends (of course). But anyone could make a charrie and jump in, playing for example the big brother who falls in love with one friend, or the bully, or the inspirational teacher.
P.S I haven't rped in a while here. I'm glad I came back and I want to say I really missed you guys:)
I'll do it! :D I volenteer as tribute!
I'd love to join!
(Great!:D Post a character whenever you can and we can start!)
Name: Steve Maryson
Appearance: Steve is pretty tall and lanky, without any remarkable muscle tone and a pale complexion. His face is oval, with sharp angles and thin small lips. He is grey-eyed with a constant bored look on his face that rarely shows a vivid emotion. His hair is a brown mess that comes to the end of his neck, but he insists no cutting it, just to get on his father's nerves. He wears baggy band shirts and a particular faded pair of jeans with his charachterstic black All-Stars.
Personality: Mostly antisocial, he just doesn't get along with people and hates crowded places and activities that human interaction is needed. His friends are probably the only ones that have heard him speak more than a word and it definetely took years to reach that level of bond. If someone frustrates him in any way, he is surely not afraid to erm...let him know.. which is a trait that has put him in trouble many times. Generally loves observing, puzzles, math, physics and good music (and commenting on the bad kind) .
Bio: Raised in a family of four, he was the older child, with his sister, Anne, being two years younger than him. Don't make the mistake to mention her to him, she's his arch enemy. His parents split up two years ago, because his father cheated on his mother with his assistant, which gave him a place in Steve's black list. Now they rarely talk, although they share the same love for math (he is a mathematician).
Name: Michael Patterson
Appearance: Mike is tall, broad, with messy brown hair that comes to just above his eyes, he has a green eye and a blue eye, but it's hard to tell the difference between the two. A bit muscular, but not to much, he wears jeans and button down shirts with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a pair of old vans.
Personality: Doesn't like people much, but is very good at making friends and is a good talker, he's always been very caring, and prefers most things quiet, unless its music, which he is very passionate about, Mike loved punk rock and metal, and played a lot of videogames.
Bio: youngest of three, Mike's mom kept him closeby, so Mike knows how to do everything she used to do. Mike wasn't close with his older siblings because of the age difference but he liked to hang out with his brother when he could. He was close with his parents and when he made friends he became very close with them too. He was always great at history and was class historian
(We just have to wait for Ion now:))
((Sorry, midterms! I've been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off!))
Name: Katarina Gaunthier
Appearance: Kat is short and curvy, standing only a little over 5 feet, with long wild reddish blond curly hair usually just thrown to the side and pinned back. She’s extremely pale and lacks the ability to obtain a tan, instead she’s covered in freckles. She has hazel green eyes that seem to show exactly what she’s feeling and her face is usually split into a smile or a wild grin. Her attire changes depending on the day, and whether or not she feels like putting forth the effort. From day to day she could be in cargos and a band tee to leggings and a fancy sweater.
Personality: Kat has a bubbly and friendly personality, but when she’s around close friends she’s witty and sarcastic. She takes school very seriously, and a lot of people seem to think she doesn’t have much of a life outside of her school work. However, she’s an avid reader, obsessed over video games and sci-fi movies and loves to dance. OVerall a strange mix of a person. She is however very caring, and she would do anything for her friends.
Bio: Kat has two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. Her brother’s in college and her sister lives with her mom in a different state. She lives with her father, whom she doesn’t get along with and hates for, in her opinion, ruining her life and that of her family. Kat doesn’t like to talk about her home life very much and enjoys instead to tell wild stories about when she was younger and her brother still lived at home.
((Is this still on?))
(Yeah, of course! Sorry I was also busy with homework and staff... I got my final certificate in English!:D)
Never before had it rained so heavily in Stonetown than that day. Steve was enjoying the silence that accompanied the rhythmic sound of the rain drops hitting the car's window and hope it would last forever. His mother drove pleasantly slow and had learnt from years of putting up with him that he couldn't stand small talk especially in the morning. Sadly, that wasn't the case with his sister.
"Mom, can you please go a bit faster? Hanna and Sydney are waiting for me for like a century!" Angie's annoying voice pierced his ears.
"Honey, the road is too slippery for me to go faster. Text them and say you're going to be late today"
"Ahh, but's not FAIR! We won't have time to talk abou.." Angie stopped suddenly and looked awkwardly her phone's screen.
"About what?" His mother asked and raised an eyebrow but Angie seemed very focused on texting to answer.
When they finally reached the school's gate, they immediately split up after they went out of the car. Angie went straight to her two best friends who waited patiently and soakingly (sp?) wet near the gate. Steve put on his earplugs and tried not to touch anyone as he walked in the hallway. Kat and Michael should have been already there but he couldn't find them.
I darted wildly around the room, cursing under my breath as I ran into things scattered around my floor. My alarm decided it would be a wonderful idea to not go off, so here I was, 10 minutes from when school was supposed to be starting, trying to find something to put on that wasn't to wrinkled. I finaly pulled on the pair of skinny jeans I'd worn the day before and a long sleeved Tokio Hotel shirt that was laying, discarded on my desk.
I stuffed my homework from the night before into my backpack and slung it over my shoulder as I ran from my room and down the stairs. The house was dark and I could hear my dad snorring loudly from his room, his door being open. Typical. I stuffed my feet into my beat up black converse and swiped my keys from the hook near the door.
I'd only just gotten my liscence, but I'd been driving tractors on my uncle's farm sense I was in elemenery school. He'd given meone of their old pickups when I'd gotten my liscence so I could not only get to school without having to pay the bus fee, but could also get to the farm on days when I worked. It was a win win situation. I pulled out of the driveway and headed to school, doing 20 over the speed limit. There was no way I'd be late again. I tore into the parking lot and jumped out heading for the school building. Just relizing it was raining I cursed again, ducking my head against the wet onslaught. Hopefully the school day would be better than my morning.
(( Bump ))
"Hey sunshine..." Steve murmured in a vivid sarcastic tone when he saw Kat approaching. He almost immediately noticed the Tokio Hotel shirt and grimaced. Well, there were way more pleasant ways to commit su.icide than listening to this noise. Slash was screaming in his ears and the last thing he wanted was to stop the music and start a small talk. So, he continued walking to his first class, History, without saying anything more.
A freshman who was obviously lost and ran hopelessly around the corridor to find his class bumped into him.
"So-so-sorry, but, erm, do you know where the physics lab is? I think it was somewhere near the..but-"
"No" Steve answered sharply and pushed him away. The freshman stood in awe, staring at him behind his big glasses, unable to comprehend the rudeness of Steve's comeback. Obviously, he hadn't heard of his reputation.
Steve looked at Kat and shook his head. What a loser...
I rolled my eyes before turning to the freshman with a smile. "Right down that hall sweetie, second door on the left." I then left him here to follow steve down the hallway. I could here his music blaring from 3 feet behind him and I shook my head, reaching up to pull out one of his headphones. "At least give the freshman a day to learn your reputation, that kid looked like he was going to faint" She gave her friend an endeering(sp) smile before chuckling slightly and looking down at her schedual. Physics, great. she thought with a grimance.
