"Well, sure thing, Luna." I say, leading her towards my F-250.
I followed behind him. "I hope I'm not taking up any of your free time." I said awkwardly.
I open Luna's door for her. "No, no, not at all." I say.
I got into the truck. Am i really doing this? "I owe you." I said before he closed the door. "Hs truck looked so nice. His parents must have gotten it for him, he's so lucky his parents could get him nice stuff like this.
I close the door and get in on my side. "You don't owe me nothing" I say as I buckle up and start the truck up.
He starts to drive and I tell him where to go. "Your actually a pretty nice guy." I comment
I smile, "Yeah? And you're a pretty nice girl." I say while continueing to drive.
I glance at him and saw the smile on his face then looked out the window. "My house is right there." I pointed at the little house. My house isn't the best but its a nice place to live.
I pull into the driveway of the little house, and says "Wow, this is such a nice house, I've always wanted to live in such a cute little house"
I placed my hand on the door and alomst got out but he said something to catch my attention. "Your really like the way it looks?" I thought he would be into fancy rich boy type if stuff.
"Yeah, even though I never got the chance too, I would love too. It doesn't bring much attention like the house I've lived in, and I prefer to not bring any attention." He said looking at his steering wheel.
I took my hands off the door. "Why don't you like all the attention?" I thought having all of that attention would feel great, maybe im wrong maybe its better to be the invisible kid.
"I mean it's nice and all. But having attention almost always. It gets annoying, you don't get your own space, and it's like being watched 24/7. It just isn't as cracked up to be." I say looking over at her
"So you basically have stalkers?" I joked "I've don't know how that feels because I've never been popular so I can't really relate." I looked over at my little house "being in a regular home isn't fun." I got out of the car "I guess I'll see you at school."
I nods, not knowing what else to say to her. And watches as she goes up into her house.
I walk inside my house seeing my mom sleeping on the couch with a empty cup in her hand. I went over to her and shook her "mom go go bed." She flung her hand "I'll stay here you go to bed." I walked away leaving her. I went upstairs took a shower then I went my room and did my home work. When I was done doing all of that I laid in my he'd thinking about today. It felt good to do something different and talk to someone. Fell asleep wondering what tomorrow will be like.
Once I see she makes it inside, I drive off and go home. Do my homework, make my own dinner since my parents aren't home, as always. And go to bed. The normal and daily routine.
I woke up to my alarm. I got up and got dressed for school. I put on blue sweat pants and a black mayday parade shirt. I threw my hair up into a messy bun. I walked down stairs and looked around the house and found my mom still sleeping im the coach. "Mom you're going to be late for work." She threw her arm out "I quit." She mumbled. I sigh. This is the fourth job she's been through this month "ok I'm going to school" I grabbed some pop tarts and went to go get on the bus.
I wake up to the sound of the door bell ringing, and so I get up, put on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and my tennis shoes and grab my truck keys, and head to the door, knowning full well it's my friend Zach, he and I have been close friends since Elementary school. "Sup, Zach?" I say as I open the door and close it behind me and head to my car.
