A nervous gust of wind fluttered past Elaine, and she bit her lip. "Let's calm down and listen, give it a try."
The professor looked up. "We wish to help you hone your abilities. A flame does not like to be with held." He continues and Maddi stared at her hands. She would be heading to the second story, room A2. They would all be pared with a roommate. Maddi secretly wished it to be Elaine, and certainly not the girl who had spoken out or the mean girl from the trip.
Elaine quietly sat ther in thought. She glanced over towards Maddi, then to the professor.
"Yeah, hone," Fiona grumbled under her breath, "because I totally want to make my destructive powers more destructive." She began fiddling with her fingers, trying to keep her mind off her anger.
"They don't have to get more detructive. They can help us control our powers, so we don't hurt anyone by accident." Elaine said quietly, trying to soothe the girl.
Fiona looked at the girl for a second, mouth hanging open in confusion. "I...I just want to be rid of them," she said, a bit sadly. She knew the girl was right, but she had learned, after many years, to take those words with a grain of salt. If her experience taught her one thing, it was that her powers were uncontrollable.
((You can't claim an element, just choose one and if another person has it it's fine. There are more than just one person with an element. To the later, I would say from about 15-18 would be good.))
((Totally up to you but I would perfer a few guys so it isn't just girls, even it out you know?))
((May I make another character?))
((Of course! But I wouldn't mind some more guys in this. I just kinda want equalness...))
((Okay, I'll get it up in a bit.))
Name: Allen Burke
Personality: Allen doesn't like being around people, and he prefers to read quietly on his own. He has a hard time understanding other people's feelings, and conversation is awkward. He shows signs of Aspberger's Syndrome, but he's never been diagnosed.
Appearance: Allen is tall and lanky, with shaggy brown hair, gray eyes and fair skin. He is bony and tall, with awkward joints. He wears jeans and sneakers, with plain t-shirts.
(( Okay so I swear I thought I posted my skellie yesterday, but it must not have posted. Sigh, sorry I have to go now but I promise I'll have it up later today. Then let me know when I came jump in!! ))
((That's cool, I would say soon like walking in the hallway or right now. We have to stop to let others catch up))
Name: Rico Bebet
Personality: Rico would be stereotyped as a "mysterious pretty boy" in school, because he prefers to keep to himself and doesn't have anyone he can call his friend. He's mostly just afraid of being hurt. Not physically, but emotionally. His rocky chilhood heavily contributes to this. Rico rarely opens up to many people, which tend to push them away. It's as if his heart wants to love, but his mind won't let him. It would take a special person to open Rico's heart.
Appearance: Rico is tall, dark, and handsome. He is 6'-2" in height, and his skin is a dark caramel color. His hair is jet black, and his eyes are an odd gray color, adding all the more mystery to him. He has accented facial features, the light hint of a budding mustache. Rico has a muscular body build; a result of him going to the gym every day.
Bio: He has had a rough childhood, but the rest is TBD.
Extras: Rico has always had a strong connection with animals he had loyal dog growing up,who was more of a friend to him than anyone else.
((Oh nice! Adding a little diversity is great!))
(( Sorry forgot to ask (I didn't want to assume) Is Rico accepted? ))
((Mhmm, he's clean [lol airport rp would be fun should we try it?]
Maddi had been walking towards the desk to receive her key for the dorm when she saw him. He seemed confused, in a gruff sort of way, but how could she tell till she tried. She walked up and smiled, "Hello, I'm Maddi, Maddi Dolan." She held out her hand brushed a few lose strands from her face.
Stupid school, Fionna thought, why did they force me to come here? Not like coming here will mak any difference... She forced herself to the front desk to get her dorm key. She really didn't want to interact with anyone right now, but her dorm room was the only place she could think to be alone.
Sure enough, there were two people already at the front desk, probably getting their keys. Fionna kept her head down as she approached them, and set her folded arms on the desk. Her red hair fell around her face, providing a forcefield to protect her against being social.
