Maddi nods and her and another girl help you into the seat. "Maddi Dolan by the way, pleasure to meet you!" She gave another beaming smile and sat back once more.

"Pleasure to meet you too. I'm Elaine Rafe." Elaine smiled, extending a hand to shake.

((I'll make a charrie, and you can tell me if there's a good spot for me to jump in))
Name: Fionna Zmear
Element: Fire
Personality: Slow to anger, but holds a grudge for a long time.  When she decides to do something, she sticks with it until it's done, with no regard to logic or reason.  Feels comfortable around people, considers everyone her friend and refuses to acknowledge that she simply bothers some people.  At the same time, she doesn't really want anyone to get close to her, since sh considers herself as destructive as her element.
Appearence:  Bright red hair, tied in a long braid reaching halfway down her back.  Lots of freckles, even on her arms and legs.  Her eyes are chocolate brown, plain but not dark.  Her teeth are strangely small, and her nose it petite as well.  She's a smidgeon short, but wears shoes like hi-tops to hide it.
Bio: Comes from a big family, she feels like a disregarded middle child.  Her parents have constantly warned her to keep her element under control, convinced they could stomp it out with enough lecturing and punishment.  Has tried to stay off people's radar, getting average grades and not being in any activities or sports.  She finds using her element meditative, and tries to sneak into the woods to use it whenever she can.

(( Would I be able to join?  If so I'd like to have Fauna as my element! :) ))

((Sure, just some ground rules though. We have to set some borders so the power thing doesn't go all over the place. With practice, fauna (actually a pretty weak element during fighting, like light) can speak to animals and call upon them during times of need. A fauna often chooses a guardian animal almost, or a special animal which always travels with them. This way they only have to call on the animal to find help. Very very powerful fauna's can even take some power from animals they call on))

((sure sure, just be able to kinda keep track a bit. Also for this I'm putting somethings to rest on this comment. On subjects, the students are trainign at a special academy, kinda like a mix between X-men and Harry Potter, and there are different subjects. some subjects for Level 1 students, (or first years) are Healing Lvl. 1, History of Elements, Study and Examination of Elements in Mythology, Study of  Different Elements, Power Enhancement Lv. 1. (the rest of the classes revolve around a students element. All Lv. 1 flora for example, must take Basic Herbology) I will create more subjects as we go on. Concerning dueling: Dueling is a pass-time, or a sport almost, popular in the Academy. Lv 1s must take dueling, then they have the choice of going to the club every night. Students may challenge each other, but it may not take place anywhere but the dueling club. concerning sports: Some sports available are: Knockout (like dodgeball but using your element) Arena, (fighting with only weapons, and Orb, where all the Elemental groups have their own team and try to get a rubber ball into Four large hoops using only their powers.))

Maddi smiled and shook it. The other's mouths twitch. Maddi suddenly frowned. "Do you know where we're going? What they want with us? I'm pretty sure this isn't a school for normal kids."

"Yeah, I don't think it is either. But I am pretty excited." Elaine smiled, holding onto her brightly painted basketball.

"Yeah, so NASCAR....." The SUV jolts forward and stops suddenly. A few kids jerk awake and the driver steps out, there is a sudden burst of light as the doors are thrown open. The kids are ushered out and they Are greeted by a large Mansion of sorts. Ms. Katrik is standing by the door and an older looking man in his late fifties sits in a wheel chair ((a lot of this is gonna be like xmen so please don't hate, I felt I should bring in another handicapped character) The man rolled forward and stopped before the students. Some of them glanced at Elaine but a few stood there nervously waiting.

Elaine smiled a little at the man in the wheelchair. He was older than her, much older by the looks of it. But it was someone who would understand. She wheeled a little closer, her basketball rolling off her lap. Forgotten.

The professor smiled and his voice was strong, but kind. He seemed highly educated by the sound of his accent. "Welcome new students to EMT Academy. You all must be wondering why we have asked you to join us. If you would follow me this way?" He turned his wheelchair and went inside, followed by Ms. Katrik, carrying a clipboard with a bunch of files. Maddi peered at them and saw they all were files of the kids from the bus.

Elaine eagerly started to wheel forward, following him eagerly, smiling brightly as she rolled along, until she was wheeling beside him.

He smiled at her and said, "Ah! You must be Elaine. I was told that a student would be coming like you." Maddi is right behind, she is admiring the architecture of the huge mansion. The intricate carvings are all reflective of nature. The proffesor led them to into a meeting room, with a large round table. Ms. Kratic stood next to the proffesor as he wheeled into an empty spot (would it be ok if we let readaholic catch up? And anyone else that would wants to join???)

((Read this would be a good point for you, just like pipe up during the meeting)) "You are all here because you possess a special power, and we have assessed that with training, you can conquer it. Miss Fionna, , mr. Mathews and Ms. Catie..." He reads of a list of names from the now crowded room. Some kids had come on different buses.

((sry, just got back from a dance/sleepover thing, i forgot there's no internet at her house))
"We can conquer it, huh?"  Fionna sneered at the person who read off her name.  "Can I get that in writing?  'Cuz I've been to a lot of 'preofessionals' who said they could get this under control, and they never could.  What makes this place so special?"  As she said this, she felt herself beginning to burn up.  She tried doing her breathing exercises to calm down, but that just made her feel more like she would burst into flame.  There were so many people here, and if she did lose control they could all get hurt...
