((Omg I thought he was ten or twelve, so sorry XD it was all the energy being given off))
((I can't even post for this. :( ))
"Corin," she said sheepishly. Naur egged her on mentally which made her a bit vexed but she continued. "Naur tells me your falcon is Kalin." Corin bowed her head respectively to Kalin but grabbed Naur's headfeathers when a pocket if wind buffeted them.
((a lot of people are having trouble posting, something's wrong with the filter. Testing thread on Random! I'll try to post as soon as I can get around it))
((for now i know bu.s and m.e set it off, so might want to check for those words. Of course, for this RP, it's probably just m.e))
Mynqui, after a few intense minutes, eventually mastered that elusive drop of water.
Great, she thought, I can control one drop. I can save a thirsty ant.
/don't underestimate your powers, Mynqui/ Ear advised, causing Mynqui to roll her eyes.
C'mon, can't I learn to control huge waves of water? That could actually be useful!
Mynqui felt a strange sensation, like another presence inside of her. Ear had shut her eyes and was making a low rumbling sound, and Mynqui recognzied the presence inside her as Ear's. A drop of water rose again, but it was Ear who was controlling it this time, Mynqui only watched.
The drop of water hovered for a second, then, at what seemed the speed of light, flew into a nearby tree, leaving a small, clean hole.
/One drop of water can be effective. Practice it again./
((seriously can't believe that worked on my first try...))
Fleece dropped to the ground, they were in a huge clearing in the forest, he could barely see the distant tree line all around him. Turning to Kalin, Fleece spoke aloud, "What are we doing? What do they mean by training." (Kalin) Search inside you, what are we here for? Fleece frowned, but closd his eyes doing as he wished. Fleece felt nothing, but the slightest bit of despair. Softly Kalin spoke, Good now use it. Fleece pulled at that despair, trying to use it. His eyes screwed shut in consentration, a weak beam of sunlight came through the clouds for only a second. Then Fleece fell back against Kalin, breathing heavily, and the beam disappeared. That was good. Fleece: "What is this?"
After the flight and a graceful landing, Umbra slid off of Sira's back and looked around. "What exactly will you teach m.e?" He asked the bird quietly, although actually speaking and not thinking. "What power is time?"
*Time can be everything.* Sira told him softly, looking at a bird about to take flight.
She focused her power through Umbra, letting him feel what the control felt like. He watched the bird curiously as his Falcon prepared. As the bird started to take off, it suddenly froze in mid-air, time stopped. But it wasn't just the bird. Umbra looked around and realized everything was stopped.
"What...?" Umbra was amazed and shocked, not to mention he had trouble believing this even could happen.
*You have this power, to stop time for yourself and move about. You also have to power to do the same for others, although that may be harder to master, since you'll need a willing volunteer.* Sira explained. *Just the same, I could take you back in time to before any of u.s even arrived here. Or forward to when some of them are grasping their power better.*
Everything resumed as if nothing had happened.
(Honor do you mind perhaps explaining his power in more detail? Or do I have room to make up the rules of it beyond what you've already given?)
Look around you. See that large cliff. Remove one small rock from it and give it to me. Wolf concentrated slightly on the cliff, nothing. He concentrated harder on the cliff. A large dent appeared on the cliff and a sudden massive pain came on the four diamonds his hand.
"OWE!" You're going to have to control your powers if you want to live. Owe that hurt.
Naur landed a bit farther off from Fleece. He winked mischievously at Kalin before leading Corin farther down. Corin continued glancing back at Fleece, but Naur turned her towards some springs. He led Corin down some rock before having her sit in the steamy air. It was hard for her to breath, but Naur told her to bend the heat to her will. She concentrated, but little changed in the atmosphere.
Ithil nudged Bella with her head signaling for her to get on. After flying off into the woods, Ithil landed in a shadowy area of the forest, still iluminated by the moon. Now your training will begin Belladonna. Glacing around the clearing Bella was confused. "What am I learning?" She asked, pulling her cloak further around her. Close your eyes. I want you to feel the shadows around you.Complying, still a little puzzled, she did so.
They were almost tangable. When she focused on them she could feel the shadows surounding her, brushing her on all sides. They were like a blanket she could feel off to the side, not covering her, but there. "That's amazing!" she exclaimed rather loudly, smiling at Ithil, who chuckled lightly in her throat. "What is that...?" She closed her eyes again in wonder, feeling the things around her.
Wolf dismounted near a cliff about 100 yards away from the rest of them. Look around. Remove a small rock from that cliff and give it to me. Wolf concentrated just a bit, nothing. He concentrated slightly harder, nothing. He concentrated with all his strength. A searing pain came on his new markings and his being transferred to the stones. Good, now move towards me. He tried moving, the rock was easy to control. A small rock moved from him and put itself on top of Ond. Changing back to Wolf he had a realized soothing feeling in his hand.

Galen and Coia flew off to a meadow- luckily the rain had slackened up here.
Galen slid off of Coia's wet feathers and landed in the soaked grass. She looked around. "Why are we here?"
To train was Coia's reply to her. You have the ability to heal.
Mynqui felt rather proud of herself after managing to 'shoot' her first water droplet. That actually is pretty effective, she thought, stunned, as she gazed at the neat little hole in a tree a few yards away. With the right aim, that could easily kill someone.
/Well, I should hope you've mastered it!/ Ear half-scolded, nudging Mynqui sharply with her beak. /That was so simple I could do it! We both have our own abilities, Mynqui, but with the right practice, yours will far surpass mine./
Mynqui ruffled Ear's feathers playfully. Yeah, yeah, she thought, a bit sarcastically, but she was too happy at her acomplishment to be mean. So what's next?
/Controlling larger bodies of water will come with practice. You've already got the gist of it, and you don't need me for that anymore. Now...you will try controlling the nature of water. Like you did the first time./
Mynqui vaugley remembered how she had used her powers in the midst of the confusion. Had..had she really commanded the entire body of water? How then was it possible that she could barely control a drop?
/Stop dillydallying. Get in there./ Ear nudged mynqui, harder this time, causing her to plummet into the water below, screaming with both surprise and joy.
(Readaholic you have four posts in a row now. Another example of TI being annoying.)
((yeah, sorry about that. But it's really my fault, I should've caught the 'm.e'))
