((by a step back, I just mean post-Wanda leaves and pre-Army destroys town. We could still work off of Michael-has-controlled-Rachel, though, idk...
Sorry rambling again!! :P))
((Rambling is fine and acceptable :).
That could be kind of fun, esspecaily the whole take down a villian thing... hmm. Not meaning to run with the idea but what if they get sent a note telling them to go to a certain town and upon going there they find out that Megan and Axon are in troble? Or they could stumble on a town that everyone is afraid of some villian and they find Axon and Megan there? I don't know, I do like the villian/quest idea :) ))
((Yeah I like that idea! I just would prefer to have them meet Megan and Axon before the quest so they can kind of 'team up' and have an excuse to hang out together. I like your ideas though!))
((Alright so how about this: Rachel and Michael are simply walking along the road and they hear a scream in the woods. They rush off and find Axon tickling Megan or something like that. They travel to the next town and find some bad guy who they team up to defeat. Sound good?))
((Yup, sounds good! I think it's your turn to start, but I could if you don't want to))
((Okay :) ))
Rachel straightened her back and tilted her head back to look up at the sky. The sun was hot and the sky clear. They had been walking for the better part of the day, it being mid afternoon now. The next town should only be a day's length away, but it felt like forever to her.
Her feet were hurting a bit but she didn't complain. It seemed so small compared to everything they had been through. Rachel smiled to herself, they had survived it, that was all that mattered.
Suddenly she heard a scream off to their right. Casting a panicked look at Michael, she jumped off the path, tearing off in search of the sound.
Megan screamed, pushing away from him. She giggled and ran across the grove, "No tickling!"
Michael took a deep breath, slightly stretching his back and following Rachel's gaze to the sky. It really was a pretty perfect day. Even if they were living on the run, they could still enjoy simple pleasures like this. He didn't mind so much that they wouldn't reach the town anytime soon.
He almost didn't recognize the disturbance as a scream at first. He was so used to sensing things like that that he didn't notice the real-world effects. At the sound of the scream, he felt a sharp pang of nervousness, wondering fearfully what could've caused the scream. He mindlessly followed after Rachel, bracing himself against an invisible threat.
"Say you give up!" Axon taunted her, continuing to tickle her mercilessly. "I get to choose where we go next, riiight?" He laughed at Megan's uncontrollable giggling, feeling less stressed than he had in a long time.
