((Sry, it said I was the last one to post...weird..
And whatever works ;) I didn't really have any ideas))
Axon tried not to get emotional about the hug--he reminded himself that he would probably never see her again. It didn't mean anything, it was a goodbye hug. "Yeah..I know..." he replied offhandedly. She trusted him...but that was the extent of their relationship. He sighed inside...hopefully he would be able to forget about her while he traveled.
((It's okay and sorry for not being on for three days. Homework getting crazy and whatnot.))
Rachel pulled back, "I hope we'll see you again sometime..." The little girl came running back and Rachel laughed at the overflowing bag she was lugging. the girl laughed in reponse, then came over and held out a hand, "Hi, I'm Meghan." rachel grinned and shook her hand, "I'm Rachel, I like your toy bag." Meghan grinned back and Rachel waved a little bye (Meghan enthusatically waved back) and hugged Axon one last time. Unable to say anything she smiled sadly and walked back over to Michael, and started to fret again over his wound.
Meghan watched Rachel go and pulled on Axon's hand, "Let's go, we want to go before Daddy comes out, cause he isn't going to want me to go." She giggled at the thought of going behind his back then pulled Axon away.
Rachel didn't say much, still choked up over the goodbye. she fingered the wound, then pulled his arm over her shoulder and put her arm around his waist to support him. "This has to be bandaged."
((turns out i was busy for longer than that, so I should be the one apologizing :S weekends are jsut busy in spring :P))
((and ok, so Axon and Meghan are off in NPC land until further notice?))
"It's fine," Michael said though clenched teeth as he struggled to stand with Rachel's support. "It's pretty shallow, just hurts a heck of a lot right now...could we find a place to set up camp for the night? Hasn't exaclty been a erlaxing day.." He tried to think of a place they could stay within short distance..the forest obviously wasn't safe...maybe the city slums?
Rachel helped him stand and move along. "I don't know. If we had any money I would say register in a hotel under fake names but I don't have any money and I presume you don't either." Rachel sighed and thought harder. "I would say the safest place to be is away from other people but I can't think of any place.'
((Sorry, lots of homework, plus I have a really great story idea which I've been working really hard on. the city slums: are you talking about a jail?))
((I was thinking more like the back alleys, the sketchier part of town...idk I can't think of a place either, Rachel! :S))
"You got that right," Michael chuckled. "and even if I did, I think I'd rather save it for food..." Where was that rich boy when you needed him? Well, he'd probably waste their money on huge hotel rooms and caviar for breakfast or something. "I agree with you about being alone..I guess we could try looking for an abandoned building and hope we get lucky.."
((I'm sorry between a rotten internet connection, a whole lot of homework, and a spacy mind, I haven't been on much lately. I'll try to do better!
I kind of like the abandoned building idea!))
Rachel shook herself, "Where ever we are going we need to get there fast, you're still losing blood. You proably shouldn't walk far. Should i go and scout out a place for us to go then come back?"
((it's fine, don't worry about it! I've been busy too))
"Sure," Michael gasped, feeling his strength beginning to fail. "I should be able to deter anyone from coming near this area with my telepathy...but hurry back, in case Rachel's dad or someone comes looking for me..." He hated to feel so helpless, but it was just as vital to Rachel's safety as it was to his own that he not be found. If Rachel refused to use her power, she was just a normal teenage girl.
Rachel gentally lowered him. Knowing he was worring, She said, "It's okay I'll be fine. And don't you dare try to get people to advoid me, you don't have the strentgh left for that." Rachel stood back up and went outside. She moved quickly exploring, and went to the edge of town. Finding a couple of abandoned buildings she searched them until she found a factory that was in good shape. "Eureka." Rachel headed back for the mansion and got back without any troble.
Michael waited for Rachel's return. Luckily, no one was roaming the area. He instinctively monitored Rachel, and from what he could tell, nothing bad happened. He felt her get closer and was relieved, knowing she must've found a place to stay. "I was wondering if you'd be able to find you way back," Michael mused as he saw Rachel's approaching form. The forest seemed much darker now, though maybe it was just due to blood loss...
