"Taxi!" Gloria squealed, climbing in a bit less than gracefully. She soon settled into the leather seat, conspicuously brimming with excitement.
Jake smiled and hopped in next to Gloria. "Tell him the destination to your house." Jake said smiling.
"Uh.." Gloria tried to remember. "It's....It's across from the park! The one with all the swings!"
"I know where your talking about." The Taxi driver said. Then the taxi driver looked at Jake. "It'll be five dallors." He said. Jake handed him the money.
During the ride, Gloria tried to snuggle with Jake. She reminded herself to bring lots of money for the trip so she wouldn't make Jake pay for everything...
Jake wrapped his arms around Gloria.
The cab stopped outside the park, and Gloria climbed out before the cab had completely stopped. "I'll get my stuff and be out soon Jake byeeee!" SHe ran inside her home, slamming the door behind her.
Jake waited for Gloria in the cab. He sighed with a smile on his face as he looked up to the sky.
the cab driver looked at Jake. "Thats a keeper." He said.
Jake smiled at the cab driver.
((Sorry, forgot to tell you I was busy this weekend))
While her mother yelled something about insanity in the kitchen, Gloria grabbed a pile of clothing from her bedroom floor, grabbed her plastic dry-erase piggy bank, and her swimsuit from the bottom of the bathtub. "Bye, mom!" she yelled to a woman carrying a jacket with sleeves that were too long. Gloria jumped back into the cab and chirped to Jake, "All set!"
"Now I live a little bit down the road." James said pointing to the neighborhood across from Gloria's to showthe cab driver.
"Hey, you live close to me!" Gloria realized excitedly. "All this time, I've been living so close to you!" She looked up at Jake adoringly.
Jake blushed. "Yep." He said smiling. They then got to his house. "Can you wait here for us." Jake told the taxi. The taxi drive nodded yes. Jake took Gloria's hand and took her inside his house with him and up to his room. He then grabbed a suitcase and began to pack cloths and his swimsuit. She grabbed soap and shampoo. He grabbed the rest of the stuff he needed for the trip. But then he went over to his chest and pulled out a Glock. "This is for protection use only." Jake told Gloria and then packed it.
Gloria's smile dissapeared when she saw the gun. "You're not...going to use that though, right? You're not in the military yet, so you won't need to...."
Jake shook his head no. "Like I said. It's for protection only love." Jake told Gloria.
Gloria smiled again, " "Love', I like that!" She held Jake's hand in hers, looking up into his sparkling eyes, "Like you're all British-y and cool..."
Jake blushed as he looked into Gloria's beautiful sparkling eyes. "Your so beatiful love." Jake told Gloria.
"Quit it!" Gloria squealed, play-pushing him away from her. She bit her lip, hardly holding back her laughter.
Jake smiled and finished packing up. He then grabbed Gloria's hand and his suitcase and came back to the cab. He helped Gloria back into the cab.
Gloria could hardly sit still in the cab. "So now we're goin' to the Baha-Mamas, right? And no planes?"
Jake hugged Gloria trying to get her to sit still beside him. "Yeah. Yes we are. And no planes." Jake said.
