"Ignore who?' Gloria asked innocently, eating the popcorn much more slowly now. The smiled widely at Jake, realizing just now how cute she thought he looked.
Jake smiled and kissed Gloria and then pulled away. Then the movie became more of the survival war sceans.
Gloria's face turned bright red. She had never kissed anyone before...she decided she liked it. She looked at Jake dreamily before looking back at the movie screen, not really sure what was going on.
He noticed Gloria was confused about what was going on in the movie. "The main chracter's wife was taken by terrorists and now the main character, who by the way is the marine, is fighting to get her back." Jake explained. Then the main character blew a terrorists head off.
"Oooo.." Gloria said as blood spewed from the terror-guy's head. It looked a little gross, but she mostly thought it looked cool. 'This movie isn't real life, though, right? That guy didn't just get his head chopped off for reals,"
"No. It's all animated. Looks realistic though doesn't it?" Jake said smiling.
"Yeah!" Gloria snuggled close to Jake. "Don't let that happen to you, though, 'kay? I"m not going to kiss a disembodied head."
Jake smiled and giggled. "I won't." Jake said smiling. He wrapped his arms around Gloria.
Gloria felt toasty warm in Jake's arms, and began watching the movie more intently, imagining the brave main character was Jake.
Then it came to a hand to hand combat scean. The main character was breaking the bones of terrorists and snapping necks. Then two guys tried to jump him and it became an epic hand to hand combat scean. The Main character finished and He went on to save his wife. At the end of the movie he finally saved his wife. Jake held Gloria closed to him as she cuddled on him. Then the movie ended and Everyone was leaving.
"That was a good movie! Glad I chose it over the cartoon," she happily said to Jake. They got outside, and, blinking at the sunlight, her smile changed directions. "Oh...it's not dark anymore.."
The sun light effected them both. Jake changed the direction he was facing away from the sun and towards Gloria. He smiled and then took Gloria's hand. "Still want to go swimming?" He asked.
"Yeah!" she exclaimed, wondering where they would go. "But...no plane," she requested in a small voice.
"Boat it is." He said. "It's in the Bahamas." He told Gloria. "Have you ever been there?" He asked smiling.
"The Baha-Mamas? I don't think so..." She looked at the sidewalk, deep in thought. it didnt sound familiar, but then, it usually took a while for her to find her own house at the end of the day. "Oh, do I need to get my swimsuit?"
You might have to back a couple days worth of cloths actually. We will stop by your house and let you pack up and then we'll stop by mine so I can pack. And grab more money for the trip." He said smiling. "And yes. You'll need your swimsuit too." He said.
"Okie-dokie!" Gloria said. "How long do you think we'll be gone? I should probably tell my mom that we're going to the Baha-Mamas."
"About two or three days." Jake said with a smile.
"'Kay!" Gloria responded cheerfully.
((sry, but...how are they getting to her house? walking or driving?...))
Jake held his hand out for a taxi. A taxi driver stopped and Jake opened the door for Gloria to get in.
