Shiloh watched closely waiting form somesort of signal for he rto go in and get Nathan. She had Star untied, saddled adn ready to go when she needed. Shiloh still doubted that this would work she trie dto push the thought of what bad could happen away. She needed to concentrate.
Shadow moved in swiftly, knocking one man into the fire and going for the leader who he saw the keys jingling from. He snatched them and tossed them at the door that went to where Nathan was. He started to fight with the men, recieving plenty of cuts and slashes as he kept their attention, waiting for Shiloh to get down the stairs to Nathan.
Shiloh finished unlocking Nathan she trie dto lift him but couldn't she was too small,
"Na'han!" she whispered,
"P'ease wa'e up, I can't carry you on my ow'." she murmured shaking his shoulder gently hoping he'd open his eyes.
Nathan stirred, groaning in pain. He was hurting badly and covered in blood from where they'd managed to get through his scales. He opened his eyes and saw a blurry but familiar face. "Sh-Shiloh...?" He whispered, hardly able to move without it hurting.
"Yes, yes, shh. I ge''in' you ou''a he'e, I can't lif' you on my ow' 'hough plea'e jus' hel' me s'an' you up." she begged. Shiloh gently looped her arm under his shoulders and put her other hand on his back making his sit up.
(Dragon. I'll try to be clear every time he changes so I need you to try to keep up with it and not make assumptions, okay?)
((A dragon has shoulders right? I mean they have front legs ergo they have shoulders....sorry....))
((Unless...I mean he's a small human'sized dragon right? Not a big one?)))
(It's just be better if you rewrote that, even had her ask him if he could shift. He'd be harder to carry as a dragon anyway, whether or not his weight is much more. It's the body shape and everything I'd worry about.)
((Yeah OK, sorry.))
"Shh, yeah it's me." she muttered. She looked Nathan over, it'd be har dto lift him this, akward to say the least plus he'd be heavy. Shiloh wasn'ts ure if Nathan would be heaiver in dragon form or not,
"Shif, p'ease so we can ge' u''a he'e." she begged him softly standing near by unsure of what else to do.
Nathan whined, knowing it would definitely be painful to even try. "I don't...know if I can." He told her. The sound of Shadow turning into a horse and still going at it with the men echoed down, making the dragon a little more aware. "Shadow's fighting?" He asked, confused a little. He knew nothing about the horse being able to turn into a human.
He hesitated and tried to shift, becoming human but it tore open his wounds and made him begin to bleed all over. He was very weak and unable to stand on his own.
"He's um a sha'eshif'er." Shiloh explained quickly. She winced when he shifted and satrted bleeding again she moved forward and put her hands on his shoulders and back,
"We go''a go."SHiloh said preparing to stand up, she guessed she'd be ebaring most of his weight so this would be difficult.
Nathan did his best to support himself as they stood, but it was painful and difficult. "Shapeshifter? He never...I mean...." He shook his head. "Later..." He put a hand on the wall as they moved, making it easier on her by using the wall for support as well.
Shadow successfully had the men backed against the wall furthest from the stairs. He was pacing and giving them dirty, warning looks as a horse. He had knives hanging out of him in different places, but that didn't stop him. His mind was set on following this plan through.
Shiloh was worried she helped Nathan up the stairs and out of the castle, not looking at Shadow or the men as she past by, she was too busy focusing on walking forward with Nathan.
Once they got outside Shiloh whistled for Star and kept them moving towards the tree line.
Star came trotting up. Nathan grunted. "I can't get up on her back Shiloh. I'm too weak and there's no way you can lift me."
One of the men tried to break away and go after them, but Shadow tackled him down, smashing his head in. He gave a final glare at the men and took off to catch up to Shiloh and Nathan.
Shiloh frowned, she didn't know how to get past this part, Star wasn't able to lay down and have Nathan on her back, Nathan would be too heavy for her to stand up. She looked back and saw Shadow coming towards them,
"Li'le hel' he'e?" she asked.
"Get the knives out so he'll heal." Nathan told her. "He can kneel down to let me on."
Shadow nodded, glancing over his shoulder. The men were coming now, ready to fight. Without the element of surprise, and having to protect Shiloh and Nathan, Shadow didn't have nearly as much chance of facing them now. He looked at Shiloh, eyes begging her to hurry.
Shiloh gently or as gently as she could lowered Nathan to the ground she ran over to Shadow and pulled the knives out of Shadow and then turned back to Nathan, she droppe dto he rknes and trie dto help him up so he could get over to Shadow..
SHiloh was feeling panicky, like she was about to have a heart attack. She hoped she was doing the right thing, but she was also defenseless right now, she'd given her weapons to Adrian and Shadow and didn't know where they were anymore.
Shadow knelt and did his best to help get Nathan on his back. "Let's go." Nathan told Shiloh as the horse got carefully back to his feet. He didn't want to but he knew Nathan would want it, so he stood and waited for Shiloh to climb onto Star's back so they could get going together.
Shiloh slung onto Star's back and gently started her forward so theys atrted off at a gallop into the woods, she looked back to check on Shadow and make sure he was following,
"We h'e to spli' u', mee' you at 'e ca'es." she called, hoping Sahdow rememebr her conversation with Adriand and ekne what caves she was talking about, she turned her horse to head the long way to town and pick adrian up.
