Onyx smiled warmly and shifted his weight. "yeah. Umm. After-school sounds the best...' His parents gave no care whatsoever as to what he did with his spare time.
"Wonderful. We'll start at three thirty." Mr. Shane said. "See you then." the teacher then turned back to his computer, smiling to himself as he thought of what was to come.
'Three-thirty... today?' Onyx asked, hiding his excitement. He looked forward to this maybe a little too much. Hopefully things would go well.
"Yes... Oh sorry I didn't take your plans into consideration. I'm free after school almost every day so any time." he said. It was a little odd for someone like Mr. Shane, so attractive and young, not to have plans almost ever.
'No, it's good. I never have any plans anyway,' Onyx smiled. He was overly happy about this..
((Would it be ok if I changed my character's name? I don't like the one I chose))
((Sure. Could you try not to write one liners? They get rather boring..))
((Yeah, sorry... Name change.... I was gonna use Jack.)) Jack smiled and shook his head slightly. 'No, not to worry, I never have any plans anyway. I'm free everyday after school. Always,' he said mildly sad.
"Okay. Then I'll see you after school." Erik caught the sad tone but tried not to be too concerned. Perhaps they'd talk more about themselves sometime and Jack could explain things about his life to Erik. Though the teacher knew it wasn't a very good idea they were both males so no one would really suspect anything.
'Ok. I'll see you in a few then,' Jack replied with a widel smile and he grabbed his things up and left. All he would do was hang out in the school parking lot until 3:30 came around. Then it was time to dig. Dig into feelings.
As the day progressed Mr. Shane continued his lessons, lecturing and grading papers. No one suspected his interest in Jack. Erik didn't think Jack even suspected it. When three o'clock came around and the student body was busy getting their things from their lockers Erik was preparing himself for the tutoring. He took some time for himself and was back in his room by three fifteen, tie loosened and shirt unbuttoned at the top to reveal the faint chest hair he had. He looked like an overly stressed teacher who had had a long day.
At the end of the day, Jack had only spend ten minutes outside before 3:30 had rolled around. He trudged back inside and led his feet lead him to Mr. Shane's class. Jack smiled as he walked in.
Erik looked up when he heard Jack walk in. "Hello." he said warmly, lips curved up in the same warm way that his tone possessed. The chair he sat in had wheels on the bottom so the teacher just pivotted and rolled over to the desk areas. "Is there anything specific you aren't understanding in this class or is it concepts maybe?"
'Umm. I'm just looking for some... extra credit maybe,' Jack said. 'I get pretty much everything, but I know I could do much, much better. Plus, being here is better than having nothing else to do, to be honest.' He laughed a bit at the last part and shifted weight uneasily.
"Well okay. Why don't you pull a chair up to my desk and we'll see if we can find some extra credit." Erik chuckled lowly when Jack spoke of having nothing else to do and just wanting to sort of hang out. "We also have that paper over the first half of Hamlet due in a week. Have you gotten that started?" Mr. Shane questioned.
Jack pulled a seat up and started speaking. 'Yes. I have a little bit of it started,' he replied. He had almost finished it in just an hour. Nice understatement.
"Good. Most kids procrastinate." Erik smiled to himself, finding Jack mroe mature for his age. "How about you write down all the themes of the play and which characters they apply to? Also do family trees of them. I can give you extra credit for that." Mr. Shane offered.
