Serephina didn't want to believe James so she kept her face masked with no emotion. "Let me know when we leave." she said evenly before scooting back into the corner so her body was enveloped in the shadows.
James grimaced and nodded. "Alright..." He left her then, although reluctantly. He was afraid for her, afraid things would go wrong and she's just end up in a worse place than she was now. He thought about what they could do for the rest of the day, but it was hard to come up with a plan.
"This is completely di.srespect.ful to you and I!" he shouted while the people around the house slowed their work a little to listen in on his out.bur.st. "I only want to share my be.d with my w.i.f.e whet, her it be sleep.ing or other things. We've not even court.ed yet and forgive me if I off.end but I have on interest in you."
She curled up in the corner for the rest of the day. The captain didn't visit her again because he had passed out from the al.cohol he drank. She managed to get some sleep but not for very long because she'd wake up from nightmares.
Soon the perfect oportunity presented itself. James cursed himself for not having a plan yet. He slipped down to check on the siren. "Serephina..." He said softly from the stairs, not wanting to get near if it'd frighten her. (Sorry for shorter posts, mostly just to be safe.)
((It's okay. I am so pi.ss.ed off at this s.i.te.))
((Also sorry I haven't replied. I was home sick yesterday.))
(Do you want to keep replying while we come up with a plan for something else?)
