James was part of the docking party, going to explore the island. They split up and he wandered about for a while. He then came across a cave, and slowly approached, searching to see what might be inside.
Serephina saw when a male finally came across her path. She moved up so her eyes were right above the water to make sure that no one else was around. Satisfied Serephine moved her head above water, harp in her hands beneath. "Yoo hoo!" Serephina called, waiting for him to come away from her cave to see her beautiful self in the water though only her head was showing.
James blinked, cautiously coming forward. "Hello?" He called softly, frightened slightly, but he caught sight of her and frowned, coming forward.
Serephina's green eyes seemed to glow as she moved towards the bank. There was a hunger deep in her belly that she needed satisfying for and he looked very yummy. "Hi there handsome." she purred out, moving her body up so her arms were crossed in front of her on the ground. She had her tail hidden well and harp in her hands while she allowed one her nipp.les to show, knowing it was more alluring to this stranger.
James blushed and looked down, out of respect for the beautiful woman. "I...who are you? What are you doing here? What's your name?" He slowly came closer, uncertain. He didn't understand.
The Siren's full lips curved up in a sweet smile though inside it was a devious smile. "I am no one. Just someone you are passing by." she murmured. Without another pause Serephina's fingers started to flow across her minature harp and her voice began to sing a song of beauty. Though it would mean James' end he would not be able to resist it. She sang loudly to him as she played her instrument, willing the human to get closer to the water where she would ultimately drown him and feed off his flesh.
James didn't even realize he was falling under her control, coming nearer without further hesitation. He knelt before her at the pool, hypnotized by the beautiful music and the sound of her voice. The other men were searching for him to head back to the ship.
When Serephina had him in her trance far enough she set her harp aside and started to pull him into the water, voice still loud and enticing. She'd only got his head in though when the crew came to his rescue. James was ripped out of her grasp and she was caugh up in a fish net, hissing and baring the sharp teeth that she could show when she wanted.
(Feel free to control any crew members or whatever.)
(Not sure I'd be good at it.)
James was panting, his eyes wide as he stared at her. "the...the harp." He gasped. "Keep it away from her. She used it..."
Serephina was trying to get out of the net she was caught in but it was no use. It was too heavy on her. One of the men grabbed her instrument and pain flitted across her features. "Let me go!" she screamed, knowing that if they didn't have mercy on her that she'd be a prisoner. Most of the men were staring at her with both awe and lust. No one had ever seen anything like her. One of the crew members however knew about it from a book and spoke up about it. He told the rest of the men that she was supposed to be a myth and all the details he knew about her which included her singing, harp, man eating tendencies, and how she'd turn to a full human if they got her on dry land.
James was staring at Serephina the whole time, but his expression was unreadable. He was just staring. That thing...almost ate him? So the feeling of love...it was all fake? Brought on by her beauty and voice?
"Get her on land and dried up. We'll take her with us. And give that heart to the captain." the first mate snarled as a few men got the Siren up from the side of the rock in the water where she was struggling. Serephina looked really angry but also in a panic because she knew she was helpless. As her scales dried up on the land her tail disappeared and two beautiful legs appeared in its place.
There were a few gasps. James was still staring. But her never looked at her breasts, or the rest of her body. His eyes were locked on her face, always.
Serephina's hair was long but not so long as to cover the lower half of her body. She tried to curl up so her long blond curls would hide the bare parts but the men wouldn't allow that. She was hissing and wincing from their roughness with her as they started for the ship. Serephina didn't say anything; she didn't want to speak to the low life humans. She wanted to be let go and given her harp back.
James was dragged to his feet. He reluctantly started to stumble back to the ship, eyes down, feeling slightly ashamed of himself.
The Siren eventually stopped struggling because she knew these men weren't going to let her go. While carrying her back to the ship a few touched and grazed places that they didn't need to which made Serephina hate all of them. If it was just one she could have overpowered them but having so many men around she didn't stand a chance and had no choice but to stay quiet. When on the ship they put her down in a cellar with no windows or things to use as weapons. She was still naked and it made her a little uncomfortable.
James never touched her or gazed at her body. It didn't matter that she was a monster, or that she'd tried to kill him. He treated her like a lady. He went to the cellar and stood at the door, hesitating. He then pulled off his shirt and tossed it to her.
One of the crew members frowned when he saw James go to the cellar door and toss the shirt in. "You got orders to be near the girl James?" he asked. Serephina looked at the male that she'd almost killed with a frown, holding the shirt in front of her chest.
James shut the door and sighed. "Just giving her a means of warmth. It'd do us no good if she dies. No one would believe our story."
The male who wasn't very educated just by the look of him seemed surprised. "Right. Well alright." he went about his duties of the ship. It was a large ship and meant for fishing. The captain had a little bit of greed in him though and the crew often went of pirating expeditions.
