NOTE: I can rarely get on when it's the weekend so the ded. part is mainly Monday through Friday.
Basically my idea is for a siren and a sailor to fall in love. It is in Greek mythology that sirens are half bird, half woman creatures. We're going to go with a more modern adaptation of a half sea creature, half woman siren. So basically a mermaid if you will.
The story will go that there will be a Siren on her flowery island. A group of sailors dock at this island to check it out. One of the sailors (your character) finds a little cave with a waterfall and small pond. He takes a look to find the Siren (my character) and sees that she is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. Unknowing to her dangerous and sed.ucing ways he is almost drowned. Her song rids him of all his senses and she as a Siren plans to do what she does best despite what her heart tells her. His crew finds him just before she can kill him and they capture her, taking her small harp away so she can no longer sing her song and is prisoner on their ship.
I REALLY want to do this rp. I'll be the Siren so I am looking for the sailor. Any takers???
Also she can change into a full human when out of the water and dried off which is how they would keep her on board. Thought I would add that in there. :P
No one? :(
Please? I am begging. Anyone??? >_<
Well this is disappointing. T_T
It's attractive but this would be our sixth.
I knooooooow. I like rping with you though...
If you don't find someone else aoon I'll do it. Fair?
Okay. I don't think I will though... :(
Well...I actually kind of really wanna do this one...Okay, I'm in, if you're up for it.
I am! :D go ahead and post your character. I'll be replying to all of these after school. Thank you for the patience.
Name: James Smith (Excuse my lazy name...)
Appearance: James is about average height, with a strong build from hard work and a nice tan from his time in the sun. He has brown hair that he usually keeps cut a bit short, and storm gray eyes. His features are hard but handsome, with a scar on his cheek that he's a little self-conscious of around women.
(Uh yeah.... But could I name your character? It's not really so much of the first name as the last name... I don't know. O_o)
(You can change his last name, but James is a little less changy, I think it fits him. Unless you really don't like it.)
(No. I actually like James. James Bennington okay? I'll have my character up in time. I've got a few things to do and then I'll be able to reply to everything.)
(Alright. James Bennington.)
Name: Serephina (No last names are needed for sirens.)
Age: Looks to be around 20
Appearance: Serephina has long very blond hair that hangs down in loose curls to her waist. It is thick to cover her naked breasts. Her eyes are as green as the seaweed and her skin is pale like a ghost. She has beautiful features that are enough to lure any male in and her voice is just as beautful. The tail she has is a dark purple and though scaley is as beautiful as the rest of her.
(Would you like me to start?)
The breeze was blowing nicely where Serephina was perched on her rock that was right beside her waterfall. To the Sirent everything on the island was hers. She didn't leave the water very often unless for food which she sometimes forgot about. She enjoyed sitting on her rock with her harp in hand, singing a melody meant for weak male humans. She hadn't had a human to eat in sometime and that made her even hungier than usual.
Serephina's tail drooped over the side of her rock as she hummed to herself, runnin her fingers through her long hair while her harp sat in her lap. She made sure to listen in case there would be any ships on the shore so she could hide and prepare for when a man would walk by her.
"James! Get up already! The captain is furious!" James groaned, turning over and falling out of his hamock. He opened his eyes to see his friend waiting impatiently. "You're supposed to be in the crow's nest!" He groaned again, getting up and stumbling out of the sleeping quarters to go to work.
"Land h.o!" Someone called, before he even got a chance to go to work. He sighed. So much for that. He ran to the side of the ship, looking out. Sure enough, there was an island coming into view. "Prepare to drop anchor!" The captain called.
Serephina heard when the ship was just on the edge of the shore and ready to dock. A smile crept to her lips. It would take someone a little time to find her and even then she'd need to make sure that the male was alone. She wasn't strong enough to trap multiple men at once.
The Siren dove down into the water and waited for someone to come to her little home that she spent most of her time in. Her big eyes watched from under the water.
