Set in victorian times, a young man recieves a letter unexpectedly. He is adopted, he knows. He's known since he was young, and never minded, loving his family. But over the years, people close to him passed away. He is alone, with no one left of his family. And then this letter comes.
He has inherrited a great fortune. His great uncle, his only blood family he didn't even know about, has passed away, and he is the heir. He gets everything. The mansion, the money, and...Seraph. The sercret of this man's real family will be revealed...in the power of a strange girl who serves the mansion and its owner, throughout time.
I'd like to play Seraph. This is a ded 1x1. Mature romance, including scenes of se.xual nature. I can give any further details you would like, you need only ask.
We already have four other rps... But if you'd like I'm up for this. :)
Well you're on regularly enough, and I enjoy writing with you, so why not?
Alright! I'll post my character up.... sometime soon.
Alright, early twenties is a good age range. I'm not picky so I'll have mine up sometime eventually.
Name: Seraph (Last name won't be needed)
Age: To be revealed. Appears somewhere from 18 to 20, although her hair gives an older first impression..
Appearance: Seraph stands at about 5'7, with a slender and attractive build. Actually, she's gorgeous when she wants to show it. Her hair is extremely light, almost white, with a silver look to it in most lights. It hangs down about halfway down her torso, slightly wavy. Her ayes are a sapphire blue, and her skin is light like her hair, leading some to think she's an albino. She's very soft spoken and always keeps her head down.
(So sorry. I'll post as soon as I can. I've been gone for the past couple days due to illness. Bare with me. :( )
(It's alright. I don't mind waiting a little.)
Name: Stark Aval
Age: 24 (hope this is alright. I think of 22 as early twenties but eh.)
Appearance: Dark brown hair with a tint of red in it. Almost like a mahogany colour, beautiful and thick for a male. Striking brown eyes with a ring of grey around the pupil. He stands at about 5'10 with a masculine body and healthy coloured skin. Stark is often desired because of his uncommon attributes but he sees himself as merely average.
Seraph stood up in the balcony as she watched the servants scrambling about in preparation for their new master. A new master meant everyone's jobs were at risk. Who would he fire? Who would he want to replace? Would he want no servants at all? Would he want a lot more and overcrowd the servants' quarters? They were all worried. The stress level made her sick, but she said nothing. Seraph rarely spoke at all. "He's here!" Someone squeaked, peeking out the window.
(I will likely be playing Seraph, the head cook, and the head maid. Otherwise, we can just randomly play the other characters as we see fit.)
(Okay I should have asked this beforehand but um what exactly do you think my character should be doing for a living? Like I know he owns the mansion and has money and everything but he probably had something he was doing before. The way I have his personality in mind he'll probably want to work sometimes and I really have no idea what I should set that as. :P)
(Well I forgot to mention it in the original post and just left it out afterward that he was adopted by a family of farmers. But really you can do whatever you want. Something involving hard work seems befitting though. Something to do with working with his hands?)
(That's exactly how I was going to make his personality. Farming would make sense. I'll reply soon.)
(Okay, cool. Sounds good.)
Stark had absolutely no idea how to take what was happening to his life. He had had his own life on the small farm his adopted parents had left him and though he was very lonely and a little more that bitter with the world he'd become content with it. This letter had changed everything but there was no one else to take this place and he sure as hel.l wasn't giving it to the government with his views on it. The main reason for taking over the place was so maybe he could find more out about his real family.
Upon arriving to the big place Stark felt a little optimistic. He may be able to just turn this place into a larger farm than he'd once had. Stark halted his horses with the reigns when arriving, looking at the huge place. All of his things were in the back of the carriage.
The head servant started to go out but Seraph made him jump, putting her hand on his shoulder to halt him. She shook her head and he stepped back, letting her pass. Seraph went out to greet Stark, coming down the steps. She wore a light blue dress with a black ribbon around her neck, and another holding her hair back.
She curtsied once she reached the bottom of the stairs. "I'd like to welcome you sir. We've be anxiously waiting for your arival." She stood and gazed at him, her eyes scanning over him, seeming to gaze into his very soul. "Shall I have the servants unload your belongings and put them away?"
Stark came down from his carriage in a pair of black and gray striped trousers with a black waistcoat to match. The vest beneath was a blood red colour as was his top hat. He looked up from the ground to see who was there to greet him. 'Beautiful...' Stark thought to himself but quickly dismissed it.
He bowed his head a bit and lifted his top hat just a couple inches respectfully to the woman before him. "Yes it is nice to finally be here." when hearing of servants Stark stares at the girl for a moment. "That... Would be in order I assume..." he spoke slowly. "I take it there are stables around here. I would like my two horses to be taken there if not too much trouble. I can brush them and feed them as soon as I've got all my stuff settled in." he spoke proper and slow with a certain sadness in his eyes that could not be mistaken. And though the male was not used to servants or much help with things he didn't want to fuss with it all now because he was pretty tired from travelling.
"The stables haven't been in use for some time. We'll have to make renovations and hire a hand to care for the horses, but I assure you, it can be done swiftly. The horses should be fine for the night." Seraph told him. "I am Seraph, personal servant to whoever owns the mansion, as is has been for me and my ancestors always." She bowed. "It is always an honer to have another to serve under."
She straightened once more. "I have the understanding you come from a poorer way of life. I'd like to inform you that just because things have changed, does not mean that you have to change your way of life if you don't want to. You can request anything and we will do our best to obey and give you what you want. You can hire or fire anyone you please for any position and place the responsibility upon either yourself or me. You also don't have to talk or act proper, not before us. Only before visitors."
When Stark learned of there being no stables he frowned. He didn't like the idea of is horses not having a place to be put down for the night. "I don't need to hire anyone for that. I can do it." he told her in an evasive way. He was a little particular when it came to animals, especially his. "Where will they be taken for tonight?"
"Oh... I'm Stark. Please forgive how rude I've been." he said with a smile that looked as sad as his eyes were. "I don't like the idea of treating other as if they are inferior to me... I'll will bow in respect to anyone I see fit." Stark rubbed his chin in thought. "I guess it would be nice to have people around here to take care of such a huge place. I'll need time to tend to the farm I plan to build anyway. Could I please have a list of everyone that is employed though and how they are paid?" he requested in a formal voice.
