Gavin ran over to her and threw a hand over her mouth. "Are you crazy? My dad will hear you!"
Leah's dad got up and went back to Braendon's cell to check on him, the paralizer should have woren off by now.
Grace sighed. In a normal voice pitch, she said, "Yeah, you're right." Her shoe bump against something. She looked down to see a syringe, partially buried by leaves. She picked it up and sniffed. "Paralyzer." she said. Her eyes widened. "Then that means- oh God!!"
Braendon didn't bother to try to move his limbs. He just stared at the ceiling and hoped that it was all a bad dream. He shut his eyes.
Gavin trembled glancing at the syringe. Then he looked down at the forest floor finding what he was looking for. The underbrush was flattened oddly, "Braendon fell there." He said pointing. He looked up quickly and searched for some kind of path of someone pushing through the weeds and brambles. "If he was paralzied, then it proably would have worn off by now. Since the syringe is here and he proably wouldn't have two, then Braendon must be being kept somewhere to prevent him from running or attacking." Gavin gulped, why would there be a building in the middle of the woods?
Leah's dad rattled the bars. "Wake up wolf. Has the paralizer worn off now?"
Grace gulped. "Let's go." she said.
Braendon sturred. He looked up at Leah's dad and scooted away.
Gavin nodded and they started off.
Leah's dad snarled down at him. "Oh look the wolf can move again. Leah will be dissappointed."
Grace walked, her heartbeat getting louder and louder.
Braendon snarled, showing off his large teeth. His eyes glowed slightly.
Gavin threw out a hand. Silghtnly he pointed to a small building ahead. He whispered, "Braendon must either be in that building, or under it."
Leah's dad laughed, "Save your energy wolf. You're gonna need it."
Grace ran over and put her hand on the door. She took a deep breath, and threw it open.
Leah's dad turned towards them, the smile fading off his face. "Gavin." Gavin shrunk backwards away from him. Leah's dad ran foward as if to strangle Gavin.
Grace stepped in front of Gavin in a defensive pose, ready to fight with the small amount of knowledge she had for fighting from anime.
Leah's dad just kept running foward to latch his hands around Grace's throat now.
((If you want he can be knocked out, but not killed, we can definatly use him later! :) ))
(Yeah, I kinda like Grace :P)
Grace struggled to breathe as she fought back against Leah's dad. She brought her foot up, and it hit something she suspected no man would want to be hit.
((Oh I don't want to kill Grace, just saying I don't want her dad killed! No worries, Grace won't die!))
Leah's dad held on to grace but doubled up. That is why he didn't see Gavin grab the iron bar on the floor. Nor did he see Gavin run to him, he only knew blackness.
Gavin pryed his father's unconsious fingers off of Grace's neck and pulled her up, "You okay?" Turning to Braendon he called, "And what about you?"
"I-I'm fine." sputtered Grace, her voice hoarse. Braendon nodded. "Same here. Thanks." He stood and walked towards the cage. "Either of you see the key?" Grace looked around. "I don't."
(I wasn't going to kill him; I figured leave it up to you. And even though both of mine are perky-ish, I'm still gonna put them in a super dark story :P After I get done with this fanfic I'm doing, that is.)
((:) okay, have fun with it!))
Gavin didn't even pause just went to the nearest chair and to it's leg. In there was a small compartment, it hid the key well. Holding it up he said simply, "It's where the house key is kept."
(I can tell that the latter isn't gonna work as an RP anyway, so might as well turn it into a story :P)
Grace sighed. "Does he usually do this? Kidnap teenage boys and throw them in cages and let strange men beat his children?" She facepalmed. "This makes my family seem sane. And I think the gypsy cousins on my Mom's side of the family might have shot some mob bosses." Braendon nodded. "They did. Mickey told me when he was hammered the last time they came to town. He thought I was a lepricaun actually. Bad moon shine."
Gavin bit his lip. "Well he only let that man beat us. Ussualy it was just him beating us. And yes he does kidnap a lot of kids, but only when they aren't human. Ussualy he finds out from Leah who sees more than he does." Gavin didn't seem to relise he had just put the blame on Leah.
Braendon stiffened. So it's true, he thought, she really snitched. "Woah, we need to call DHS or somethin'! You can't just be batted around like a punching bag." Grace said, looking at Gavin, "I knew a girl like that, and she..." her voice trailed off. Best not to get into detail.
Gavin hung his head as he guess the end of her sentence, "..was killed? Yea we know that we proably won't have long lifes. Though Leah might live longer than me, she's of more use to him." Gavin stepped foward and undid the lock of the cell.
"We can call the cops!" insisted Grace. Braendon was stepping from the cell as he heard this, and nearly fell on his face. "Grace!" he yelled, "I don't wanna go to jail, and that's what would happen if we called the cops. He'd probably snitch on me!" Grace sighed. "Well, we can say that either HE killed the guy, or you were FORCED to."
