Aiko blinked a bit, taking a moment to process what he said. Pink rose a bit more in her cheeks, and she stopped playing with her hair. "You...like me?"
Jack nodded slowly. 'Mmm,' was his only response.
Aiko looked down, staring at her shoes. "I...I um...I..." She struggled with the words, biting her lip as she tried to stammer something out, flustered and shy.
'I mean.. I could understand if you don't feel the same... But,' Jack stopped short, trying not to gush his heart out.
Aiko went quiet, heart pounding in her chest, almost leaping into her throat.
Jack waited for her to respond. The suspense was killing him, and doubt shrowded his heart more every second Aiko was slient.
"I...I-I think I like you too." Aiko finally stammered out, heart beating wildly as she looked oveer at him.
Jack smiled widely, 'Then would you consider going out with me?' He asked confidently, but heblushed furiously.
"I would like that very much." Aiko whispered, looking up at him.
'Then it's decided,' Jack replied excitedly, and proudly. He couldn't help himself.
Jack smiled. 'How about we go out to eat for dinner? I have no other plans.'
"That sounds nice." Aiko smiled at him.
'Hmm. Awesome. I'm guessing it's about six, time-wise, so do you have any preferances?' He hoped for something nice.
"I don't have any preferences." Aiko shrugged. "Do you?"
