Sean nodded, "Of course, I'll do anything to help you." He hugged her tight to his chest, his throat caught with sorrow and sympathy.
((If it's okay I'm going to bring Daevion back now. If not, ignor the rest of this ;) ))
Daevion, weary and tired, shaddow traveled and came up in the feild her left Vienna in. At first he didn't see her, only a couple by a tree... he gasped. He sprinted foward (faster than eye can see) and tore Vienna from the Gaurdian's grasp, getting between them to protect her. "Gaurdian." Daevion spat. the Gaurdian looked furious and he spat back, "Hunter." Then his eyes widened, "Daevion the Hunter." Daevion grinned and said mockingly, "Stay away from Vienna and I won't hurt you little Gaurdain."
Vienna gasped when Daevion came rushing in, and stepped back farther when he got in between them. She quickly hid the bottle of pebbles in her pocket, there was no way Daevion could see those. Now that Daevion had shown up, she felt guilty for being with the Guardian. She still had mixed thoughts about it all, but a part of her still believed that deep down Daevion had to care about her, at least a little bit. For now, she watched to see what would happen. She'd do what she could if either Daevion or Sean got hurt.
Daevion growled at the Guardian and spat at his feet. The Guardian took a deep breath as if steadying himself and spread his wings. Daevion who was ready to transform into he.llhound looked at him suprized. The Guardian sighed and said, "Take care Vienna." Daevion frowned, and spat "Get going." The Gaurdain nodded and took off. Daevion was suprized, but didn't waste time and put and arm around Vienna's waist, taking her down to the Un.derworld.
Vienna didn't say anything more to the Guardian, and didn't look when he left. She felt to make sure that the pebbles were still in her pocket, and clutched Daevion as they traveled down into the Underworld. There was no doubt in her mind that he might have something to say about this. When they arrived, she looked up at him. "Are you alright, what happened?"
When their feet landed on solid floor, Daevion whipped around to face her. His previous exhaustion forgotten he searched her face worriedly, "Never mind me, are you okay? What happened? Why was he holding you?" the last words held anger in them and he wasn't even sure if it was at the Gaurdain or Vienna.
Vienna bit her lip, debating on how much she should tell Daevion. Should she be honest, and tell him everything the Guardian told her? She sensed his anger, and decided to tell him what he had said. "He arrived a little while after you left. At first he didn't think I could see him, and was surprised when he realized that I could. Then, he saw that I was cold so he gave me his jacket. He was asking me about how I had gotten down here, and about you." she explained meekly. "He was holding me because... because he felt bad for me."
Daevion searched her eyes, "What in he.ll? I mean I know Gaurdains are good or whatever, but going as far as to help someone who had been in the Un.derworld... And he felt bad for you? What does that mean? Didn't you tell him you were happy here? Peraps not safe but..."
Vienna gazed uncertainly at Daevion, feeling awful that even for a second she had doubted that he cared about her. "He felt bad for me because he doesn't think you care about me. I told him that you did, and he said it wasn't possible." she explained, feeling nervous suddenly. "Daevion, you know I love you. He sounded certain, and was very convincing. A part of me believed him, but I knew in my heart that you care, I know." Vienna added in a soft whisper.
Daevion searched her eyes for a second then kissed her deeply. when he pulled back he rested his forehead against hers and said, 'I don't know why I even cared about that Gaurdain, I know you love me. and I lov-... I love you too." He choked the words out as the full impact of his feelings hit him. "We really ought to sleep, I'm exhausted."
Vienna moaned softly, and felt her heart flutter. She kissed him back, deeply and passionately. What had she even been thinking, believing that Guardian? He was trying to lie to her, or perhaps Daevion was unique. She had not met many Hunters, but the few she had met were awful compared to Daevion. Quickly she snapped herself out of her thoughts, and focused on Daevion. "I love you too." she whispered, emotion heavy in her voice. "Let's get some sleep."
Daevion laid down on the bed and fell asleep quickly. However in the night his buzzer went off and he groaned. "I'll be back." He got up and went up to the world. After collecting the spirt he wandered for a little while in the above world.
Vienna stirred when she heard the buzzer go off, but she soon fell asleep. She was a heavy sleeper for the most part, and she pulled the blankets over her face to make up for the loss of Daevion's body heat.
Julia was on one of her usual night time strolls, it was just about the only time she could get any peace and quiet. She wasn't a very social girl by any means, and preferred to be alone, or on a rare occasion, with small company. The night time air was brisk, just the way she liked it. She walked at a methodical pace, gazing up at the twinkling stars.
Daevion sat down under a tree and looked up at the stars, but then quickly back down at the Earth. He had no right to look up, deamon that he was. Glancing up breifly he spotted that he wasn't alone, a girl was walking along gazing upwards. Daevion snorted, she was proably looking for some angel to come and whisk her away.
(( Can Julia see Daevion, or not? I couldn't remember..))
Julia stopped for a moment, for a constellation in the sky had caught her attention. She knew the common ones, like the big dipper and the little dipper, but this one was in the shape of a heart. It was strange, because it seemed to be that the heart was split into two halves. She shrugged, deciding it probably meant nothing, and kept walking. A few moments later, she stopped dead in her tracks. She had an eerie feeling that she was no longer alone.
