Anyone In The Mood For A 1X1?

I'll do all genres except for fanfiction. Romance is fine, but only as a subplot.

Not at the moment, but if you give me a genre I could probably come up with something. :D

I'm good with most genres, and I completely agree with the romance sub-plot thing. There has to be action and stuff too. :p

I like medieval/fantasy, modern-day, and futuristic the most, probably.

I've never done futuristic before. Let's go ahead and try that out, if that's ok with you.

I want to do something with robots of some sort....Hmm. Have you ever seen Surrogates? The movie where all these people depended on the robots in their daily lives? It could be kind of dystopian....Something happens, very few robots are left, and they have to figure out how to live without them. Maybe even have a few survive, hae some controversy over that. You know, whether or not to destroy and move on or to rebuild. Maybe that could be plot point, even. Because maybe the blueprints were lost somehow and there's only one or maybe two left so there's a big debate on it, and there's people trying to destroy them, and they all have no idea how to take care of themselves so they have to relearn.....Sorry, I ramble sometimes.

Nope, I've never seen it. It sounds interesting, though. Who would our characters be?

We could have one robot, one human, or two humans.

Or two robots, but with the whole "trouble with emotions" thing that comes with it it might be a little hard.

I'm fine with any of those. How developed would the emotions in the robots be? Like, would they actually feel emotions or just understand them? Sorry I keep disappearing, I'm kinda busy today.

It's fine, I can be the exact same way. The robots would probably be like Data from Star Trek (if you've never watched, basically only kind of understanding and never feeling) but with a potential to feel. So at the beginning, nothing, but as time goes on they can start to.

Oh boy, I've seen SO MUCH Star Trek. XD

Sounds good to me. I kinda want to be a robot. :p Would there be any cyborgs, or just robots and humans?

It's possible a cyborg or two could one of the remaining robots.

Soooo, what should skellies look like? And am I the boy or girl? I'm fine with either.

You can be whatever gender you want to be. We can both be a girl, both be a boy, etc etc. A skellie would look like this.
Name-
Age-
Personality-
Appearance-
Stance (on the whole robot thing)-
And Bio, if you want.

If it does turn out to be a romance...
I don't do se.x scenes. If there are any, it has to be a fade-away.
I also don't do same-gender romance. I don't have anything against it, I just don't really know how, and it feels weird to write it.

I'm fine with pretty much any level of violence/gore/general meanness.

I'll get a skellie up in a minute. :)

Name: Alex
Age: 9 years, but she looks around 20.
Personality: Very direct, she'll say what's on her mind without hesitation. She rarely actually thinks about herself, and when she does, she doesn't acknowledge her existence as anything 'real.' Humans are real, and she is nothing but an AI. She is very curious about things like growth, as she has never experienced it, and is fascinated by things that change; babies, kids, puppies, caterpillars, hair, etc.

Appearance: 5'7", fit, but with noticable curves. Her body is carefully symmetrical, and a little off-looking because of it. Her skin is apale ivory tone, and looks maybe a little too smooth due to the lack of real pores. At first glance she looks human, but if you really look closely, you can tells he's not real.
Her face is angular, with a slanted jaw and high cheekbones. Her eyes are slanted, almond shaped, and dark violet, almost black but not quite. Though she's a robot, and has no real ethnicity, she looks Asian. Her pitch-black hair is permanently styled in a bob to her chin.

Stance: Despite being one herself, Alex is against the creation of realistic AIs.

I agree with pretty much all of what you said. I'll start my skelly now. (Awesome name by the way, I hear people named Alex are pretty sweet. ;)

I wouldn't know, I don't think I know any Alex... :p I wanted to choose something sort of unisex, because she's a robot.
