Just moments in the Marvel School that are unknown to the roleplay itself :)

First created because we missed Princess xD So um, I guess I'll start :3

Zeke's Arrival age 13

Zeke did not want to be here. He supposed the fancy school was better than the hospital, or the funeral home, or his apartment that was still scorched from the seventh floor up. At the memory, he subconciously rubbed at the strins on his bracelet, hues of bright red, tender green, and ink black.

Just don't think about it. Not until I am alone. The young teenager cautioned himself, walking into the lobby with one suitcase in hand. It was a pretty nice looking school, he had to admit. Fancier than any place he had ever been at least; except, it wasn't that crowded. Until he caught sight of an impressive statue of a guy in a wheelchair. Appraoching closer to exaimine it, he read "Professor X" on a neat golden plaque.

He raised him brow, his lower lip slightly sticking out. Even in his young age, he was an athletic looking boy, with his curly brown hair falling into a fringe above his curious green eyes.  Who was his Professor X, dude? And it was if th guy read his mind because suddenly, he hear a gentle and intelligent sort of voice.

"Ah, you must be Zeke Braverman." Zeke jumped, his hand clutching onto his meager suitcase as he saw the man--Professor X--smiling down at him. What Zeke didn't know was that Professor X knew plenty about him; his history, his power, a good knowledge on his feelings. Next to him, was a thin looking boy who looked like a stray puppy dog that Zeke wanted to take home an foster way back in Venice.  "Welcome to the Marvel School! I am Professor Zeke and this is Tristan, you're room mate."

"Hey." Zeke greeted simply enough, nodding his head. He still was fingering his bracelet, the feelings of reluctance resurfacing."Nice to meet you."

((Ah! They're so cute! And young! I was thinking, maybe the school could be like a junior/senior high, because I remembered that Tristan is about 2 years younger than Zeke... Tristan's a Junior in the original roleplay, because he skipped a grade, so I'm just trying to think of a plausible way to put him into the school :))

Tristan

Tristan jumped nervously when the new boy entered the room. He couldn't drop the habit, even though he had these new glasses which helped him discern what was real, and what wasn't. They were too big though, and the large sircular lenses kept dropping down his nose.

His gaze wandered over the different images of Zeke until he felt he had found the real one, and he bobbed his head with a nervous smile. He didn't like meeting new people. They always thought he was crazy, like his family did. Even he did, until Professor X found him.

Despite that, Tristan got the feeling that Zeke wasn't one of those people. Maybe it was because he looked sort of melancholy. As soon as he thought about it, the probabilities flooded into his thoughts, and it took a great deal of energy just to push them into the back of his head where he could concentrate.

"Hello, Zeke. My name is Tristan-" he frowned, "Oh, right, the Professor already said that." His cheeks flushed. Oh, how he despised meeting new people. Right up there along with talking to them.

Nacho: hey! Sorry to bust in (heh heh me and my RP humour XD), but it's me, Lizzie, from the Busting trilogy, and I am back on TI! I was wondering if you would be interested in joining my RP, Epic? I need a couple more people to join and we used to RP together all the time and I miss you and stuff, so yeah if you could join that would be awesome! :D Thanks and sorry again for busting in :P.

(Oh sure! I'd love the join lol love your humor btw! Could you perhaps bump it up to the top page so I could check it out? I'm not on constantly because of work and such, but I'm pretty consistent. And Roseatta, I thought Marvel was a K-12 school xD hence why I created Rose so that's fine for Tristan's age haha )

Zeke

Zeke's first impression was that Tristan was nervous. And embarrassed by his mistake. His discomfort displayed so openly made Zeke empathize; despite the fact that he wasn't showing anything less than contentness, it didn't mean that he wasn't.

"Tristan has the power of seeing multiple probabilities." Professor X chimed in. Zeke's gaze went back to the friendly man. The man who the guy from the hospital said that knew what he could do. What he had done. Yet, he was treating him like a normal guy. But...why?"I really hope you like it here." And Professor X was genuine. It made Zeke's stomach lurch."Tristan, would you like showing Zeke to your dorm room?"

((Ah, okay. I never really thought about it, but just assumed it was a highschool. :P))

Tristan

Tristan couldn't help but envy his new roommate. How collected he appeared, with a sort of unflappableness. He winced as Professor spoke of his mutant abilities out loud, and his soft brown eyed gaze wandered away to the wall as he found himself embaressed again, but not for a reason that he could really describe.

You've got to stop feeling sorry yourself. Especially here, when you know there are others here who have abilities to. You're not the odd one out anymore.

"S-sure thing, Professor," Tristan stuttered, leaping to his feet. He was awkwardly tall for his age, all bony and gangly limbs. He had been at the school for two weeks now, and already knew the exact layout of the school, and also knew already how difficult it was to traverse the halls, how disorientating it could be.

With a goodbye nod to Professor X, Tristan held open the door for Zeke. "I'm sorry you probably won't get a tour right now, from me at least. I mean, I'm not really good at that stuff, but you'll at least get to know the way to my- our- room."

Zeke

Zeke blinked. Tristan was literally the opposite of him; whereas he was sturdily built with a calm demeanor, the other boy seemed to be all spaghetti arms and gangly legs, falling above him slightly in height. Still, there was a certain...friendliness there. One that reminded Zeke of his mother, with her warm brown eyes and easy smile. The comparrasion made Zeke touch his bracelet again, before he shrugged, an encouraging smile painting his lips.

"I don't need a tour." Zeke explained with an air of flippancy."I'll discover the school soon enough." His eyes held a mischevious glint, before he went through the door of a hallway. Everything seemed so...clean. And organized. His nose crinkled as his lips turned into a light scowl.

"I have a feeling this place has a lot of rules." Zeke announced, glancing back at his new roommate. Who, thankfully, had asked no questions. Which was another reason Zeke was beginning to like him."Lead the way, I guess." He suddenly smiled widely.

Tristan

Tristan was quiet while Zeke talked. He like listening, even though it was often difficult to distinguish what it was he was supposed to be listening to in the first place. He also watched- when he wasn't busy dodging people that weren't actually there. Plus he was still trying to figure out what his new roomate was like.

"Loads," Tristan responded automatically to Zeke's query concerning rules, "And there's also, on average, a pretty probable chance you'd get caught, too." It didn't take very long for the numbers to come to mind. There were hundreds of them, for all probabilities, but he was already learning how to find the most important ones.

"I'd say about 43%," he added as they walked down the hallway. Tristan, not paying as much attention to where he was walking as he usually did, ran through one of the probabilities- a sensation that completely unnerving. They looked real, they sounded real, for the most part. But when he passed through them as if they were ghosts, that was just plain disconcerting.

He looked over at Zeke, and felt like he should say something. The promblem being the topic. Zeke seemed, in a word, a lot more cooler than Tristan was. Like, the kind of person people wanted to hang around, usually, because they were nice and fun. He thought about asking about the bracelet he noticed Zeke paying a lot of attention to, but discarded the idea once it was brought to his attention the high probabilities of it being an unsavory topic.

It seemed a lot of the interesting questions had a high chance of being volatile, so Tristan asked one of the more innocent ones. Becuase, naturally he can't go long in this school without everyone finding out anyways. At any rate, Tristan was getting a headache from all the thinking carrying a regular normal conversation required.

"I don't mean to pry, b-but even though it has a high probabilitiy.... I was wondering- what your ability is, I mean," Tristan smiled a little ruefully, "It probably isn't worse than mine or anything."

Zeke

Zeke's nose wrinkled even more, his bronze freckles becoming more noticeable than before at the action. He set his suitcase down--they seemed to be in a hallway that no too many people passed through, even if the factor could be the time of day--and rubbed the strings of his bracelet between his fingers more.

"Ew. I hate math, dude." He replied at Tristan's percentile thing. What was the kid's powers again? Oh yeah--the probabilities of outcomes. Talk about weird, even if all Tristan seemed to be was nervous. A thought hit Zeke's mind, and his face smoothed out.
"Hey, if you can test the probabilities out or whatever, could you like help me with th chance of not failing a test?" He asked, almost sounding excited at the thought. Tristan seemed like he would be nice enough to do that, and suddenly, his social awkwardness seemed to vanish at the thought of Tristan helping Zeke out. Then, he had to ask abut his powers.

Don't freak out, don't freak out. Because, well, Zeke frankly could of freaked out at the mention of them. His powers. The one thing that set him apart, te one thing that ruined his chance at a normal life...

"Ah...you'll find out eventually, Trist." Zeke replied carefreely, with an air of mischief. He couldn't let him know that it bothered him."And hey, you're power isn't bad. It's actually pretty cool." He gave him an encouraging smile, before picking up his suitcase again."So uh...is there an art room around here or what?"

Tristan

Tristan just shrugged, knowing that Zeke avoided the topic of his powers for a reason. And he figured, if he didn't want to talk about his powers, then fine, he wouldn't question any more. Even if Zeke didn't openly appear bothered by it, Tristan wouldn't push. After all, he was sharing a room with the kid. Didn't want to alienate him or anything.

Then he shrugged again as Zeke claimed that his power wasn't so bad. Zeke had only known him for a little bit, he hadn't seen it all, didn't see yet the way the other students treated him. It wasn't just his strange abilities that alienated him, though. Most people didn't like it when an eleven year old was better at math then them.

Tristan turned towards Zeke with a startled smile- startled because people usually couldn't say anything to him that was really worth smiling about, and also because he had never considered using his abilities to cheat on a test.

"Uh, uh yeah. Probably," he laughed, "if it were a multiple question test. Although I think I would first help with trying to solve the question." They both got into the elevator, and Tristan pressed the button for the floor the boys room was on.

"Oh, er, yes, I believe. I don't know where it is though, unfortunately. I'm a bit artistically challenged," he admitted.

Zeke

"That would be awesome!" Zeke laughed, stepping into the elevator as he gave Tristan an enthusiastic grin. He could tell the guy didn't really view himself as "awesome" material, which really kind of stunk. Anyone who went out of their way to show the new kid around--let alone room with a new kid--was good in Zeke's book.

"Artistically challenged?" Zeke then scoffed, rolling his eyes."Puh-lease. Anyone can draw." He nodded confidently, before he paused, raising a brow."How about this; you help me with math, I help you with art?" He proposed, before the elevator door opened with a small ding, and he stepped out.

"I mean, we are going to be room mates, right?" Zeke added with another smiled, wiggling his brows."And I bet there's a ton of babes here too, huh?"

Tristan

"How about I just help you with math and you'll never have to face the horror of viewing one of my drawings," he said lightly. He had actually protested a bit against having a roommate, when Professor X told him earlier. After all, his room had been his sanctuary, a place to get away from everyone.

But Zeke didn't seem like a jerk so far, which was good. As they rounded the corner of another one of the twisting halls, Tristan gave Zeke an odd look. Did he just hear him right? Or was that a stray porbability? Babes- babies? What?

He responded with his first thought. "Um, I don't believe there are any infants-" Then Tristan realized what Zeke was probably saying, and his cheeks colored. Tristan stared resolutely in front of him. "Oh- uh, I suppose so," he amended. He was more than glad when they came to their dorm room door.

Tristan fumbled with the card, and got the door open, revealing the not very large space. The older kids all got the really nice rooms. For now, he and Zeke shared a small space with two beds, desks, and closets with a little space in the front for a couch and table, similar to a hotel room of sorts. Tristan's side of the room was neat as a pin, and there were so little belongings out it hardly looked like he lived there.

"Uh, well, this is it. Largely unimpressive, but I've heard the upperclassmen have much better rooms so there's hope."

Zeke

Zeke gave out a low whistle, raising his brows as he walked into the room. Tristan was right in his statement of it being "largely unimpressive". It was small--how was Zeke going to deal once the day came around?--and he felt somewhat claustrophobic even when he stood by the window. Thw view was boring; just some buildings next door, with the slight sound of New York leaking through the glass. He tossed his suitcase on his bed--Tristan's was made so neatly, you could probably toss a coin on it and it would bounce straight up--and exaimined the place he would be living for the next year.

"You're right. It's largely unimpressive." He agreed with a nod, before smiling."But, you aren't. So that's a plus, right?" Zeke smiled even wider before he plopped down on the loveseat provided, digging in his pocket before he came out with a crumpled piece of paper.

"Do you have your schedule?" He asked curiously, before a knock came to the door. Zeke quirked a brow, before he laughed.

"Do you think it's a babe?" He had seen the way Tristan's face had flushed at the mention of the term. Funny kid.

[Oh my :o I am so sorry to hear about your international nightmare :( I hope you still had fun, though! Even if this experience probably makes you want to never leave the States again, huh? And I'll leave it up to you: I was originally going to have it be Brittany, but Amedeus would be fun, too :) I find it a very helping thing for character development to write them as younger people :) )

((Ah, I'm fine now and yes, I had loads of fun. I think if there's ever a next time, I'm sticking my passport somewhere a lot safer. :P I think I'll make it Amadeus because he's so adorable. ^^ I've never written any of my characters young before, so I'm kind of floundering, but I get what you mean about character developement. :))

Tristan

Tristan leaned against the wall. "Yup," he said drily, feeling a lot more comfortable in his- their- room, "Nothing like rooming with the resident crazy to make things interesting." He heard the probability of the knock before the actual one, but waited until Zeke had reacted to go to the door.

"Probability of next to nil, unfortunately," Tristan responded, looking through the peephole to see who it was. Tristan never got a lot of traffic through his room- he didn't exactly know anyone. But he had the feeling that now that Zeke was staying in here, that was about to change. Actually, though, it was someone he was familiar with.

"Amedeus," he said with a quick smile and opened the door wider. Even though De was older, Tristan was in the same math track as him, so he knew (as much as anyone could 'know' Amedeus) from class.

Zeke

It wasn't a babe at the door, alright; it was a boy. A very tall--taller than Zeke and Tristan--a thin one with clothes that hung off of him and screamed "punk". Now, Zeke wasn't stereotypical, but the ripped black jeans with a studded belt, a gray t-shirt with some band over on it and his leather jacket immediately made Zeke want to grab his suitcase. Not to mention his dark eyes, ruffled black hair and smile weak smile that seemed to know exactly what Zeke was thinking.

"Hello Tristan." The boy--did Tristan say his name was Amedeus?? What kind of name was that??--replied in a quiet voice, walking in two steps beore casting his dark gaze at Zeke. Zeke smiled in greeting--or at least, he hoped he smiled.

"Uh, hey I'm Zeke. Tristan's new roomate." Zeke inroduced, holding out a hand. The boy blinked, as if he was surprised Zeke even offered it. Whoa. Maybe his expression looked worse than he thought...Neverthless, he shook Amedeus's hand, noting a silver ring glinted on one of his fingers.

"Nice to meet you, Zeke.My name is Amedeus." He responded with a polite nod, before his gaze went back to Tristan, somewhat curious."So...does this mean we're going to have to reschedule studying for that pre-math quiz?" Amedeus asked curiously, not sounding bothered if they had too. Zeke heled back a snort as he casually began to unpack. Who studied for a pre test?

((I just can't get over how adorable everyone is, especially Amedeus. ^^))

Tristan

Tristan's eyes traveled from Zeke to Amedeus, feeling like something relatively important was going on that wasn't being said. Or maybe something was said and he missed it. Ugh, people. That was always something Tristan had trouble with. Because instead of just being simple, there were things that people would judge you by for no apparent reason.

Whatever it was, he was sure he had just imagined it after all, because Zeke seemed too nice of a person, and everything really did seem normal. Oh, studying. Right. Tristan blinked embaressedly behind his large glasses.

"I'm sorry, De. It slipped my mind, but I'm we could still fit it in," he turned to Zeke, who was starting to unpack his belongings, oblivious to his reaction. "You can come with, at least to the library, if you'd like, Zeke. That way, you'd see more of the school." He tossed a look at De. "That is, if it's alright with you."

Zeke

"The library?" Zeke oculdn't help but to scoff slightly, and add a snort as he ran a hand through his hair. It stuck up in bronze curls, as if he just rolled out of bed. He thought for a moment, glancing at his meager belongings, before glancing at the two boys so startingly different.

"Of coarse I wouldn't mind. The school is pretty big." Amedeus reassured with a smirk. Tristan always worried about those trivial things, since he was always kind of "off" with his powers. "And no worries, Tristan." He added with a shrug.

"Alright, we can go, but ah...I won't be doing any math studying." Zeke warned with a little laugh, tugging nervously at his bracelet. It would be way better than staying alone in the dorm with his thoughts."I actually think I'll catch up on some sketching practice." He added, grabbing a sketchbook in his bag hurriedly, before smiling."Lead the way."

(I know ^.^ I'm thinking og bringin gin Micah or rose or Brittany haha :) )

((Haha, a young Rose would be fantastic. I know for certain James is going to make an appearance. ;))

Tristan

Tristan smiled in a relieved sort of way, when both Zeke and Amedeus agreed. Mostly because he couldn't think up a plan B. "Don't worry, Zeke. Neither will anyone else," he said wrily. The library was by far his favorite place, even though it got unbearably busy with non-studyers at times. Apparently, most people thought it was a very strange and alien thing to study for a math test in the library. Or maybe it was just Tristan and Amedeus.

Tristan led them out the door, and as they were in the hallway, picked a tune to hum to himself- which was a handy trick that helped keep distractions at bay. Even so, he was still jittery when it came to walking down halls. Looking around in one of his usual nervous gestures, Tristan noticed a short figure heading their way. He didn't even have time to wish that they would be ignored when the said figure wedged himself in between Tristan and Zeke, caused Tristan to almost stumble into De.

"James," Tristan said cordially, but not very enthusiastically. The small kid looked almost abnormally small for his age, with a mop of blonde curls and a deceptively cherubic freckled face. James' round blue eyes glinted as he looked Zeke up and down, promptly sneezing. Did he imagine it, or did Tristan see a flicker of shock across the other boy's features?

James, even though Tristan had only known him for the two week duration he had been at the school, was not one of Tristan's favorite people. He had a habit of sitting in the corners of rooms, watching people with an alarming intensity, or sticking his nose where it did not necessarily belong.

"Tristan. Amedeus," James acknowledged them briefly, but his main interest was Zeke. Who unfortunately, until the next student arrived, would remain the focus of James's unsufferable attentions.

"You're the new kid- Zeke. Am I right? Of course I'm right, I'm James. Which isn't mutually exclusive," James babbled in his irritatingly shrill voice.
