The girls sighed, looking like Barbie dolls. Absolutely perfect in every way.
Nicolas blinked at them, hugging his thin frame through his near threadbare sweater.
"I don't like him..."
"He's cute though..."
"I...I um..." Nicolas hugged himself tighter. Unsure of what to do now.
The brunet moved over to him, then smiled a little, extending her hand. "Pleasure to meet you."
Nicolas just nodded, not taking the extended hand. He just stared at her through his thin little glasses with confusion. And still a hint of fear.
The looked at him, then moved to put her hands on her hips. She glanced at LeeAnn, and they seemed to have a silent conversation.
Nicolas turned away from them nervously, and started picking up the stack of books he had knocked over.
"What are you going to do with us?" LeeAnn asked in a tiny voice starting to sniffle and cry. "Please don't hurt me.."
"I-I wouldn't hurt anyone." Nicolas said, piling the books in his skinny arms. He looked at them nervously.
"Quiet! Don't tell him! He will hurt you!" AnnLee warned softly.
LeeAnn dropped to the Clore hugging herself as she cried.
Nicolas flinched, moving to a shelf, sorting out the books and sliding them into place on the shelves. "I wouldn't hurt anyone. I don't...I don't do good with people."
"So what do you want with us?" AnnLee sighed.
"I don't want anything..." Nicolas mumbled.
"Then why did you burn us?" She asked softly.
"I...I don't know. There was a note, and just...it said 'Burn Me'." Nicolas whispered. "I don't know why, I'm sorry..."
They looked at each other, then at him. "Why did it appear for you?"
Nicolas bit his lip, hugging one of the books to his chest. "I wouldn't know..."
"Hm..." She sighed, closing her eyes. LeeAnn was still hugging herself.
Nicolas nervously sorted the books on the shelves.
