The world has advanced, and it has fallen. Now what was once great cities with hovering cars, are danger zones heavily avoided. New small setllements are scattered about the world, but humanity has become rather few again. One village can hold anywhere from a family of about twenty members to 1000, the usual number of the capitals villages. The creatures of the world have become dangerous, beyond what most humans can fight against, since a gun is rare, and a good shot is considerably rarer than that.

Walking through this world, you'd feel like you were in some medieval fantasy story in one place, and somewhere else entirely in another. Some villages are further advanced than others, some have reproduced 'ancient' inventions for survival and comfort alike.

This story is about a girl. She lives in a small village of about 60 or so. She and her two friends, a pair of brothers, are some of the only people willing to venture out and hunt. among the dangers of the world, which has literally become a jungle in some places. One day, when she's hunting, she happens upon a trail left by something she's never experienced before. Curious, she follows the trail. What she finds is what, even with the world as it is, should not exist.

A dragon. Young, and hurt. She takes it under her care, but she knows she cannot let the village know of it. No one can know, not even her friends. Little does she know, her friends have dragons too...

I kind of started making this a 1x1, and it may very well remain a 1x1. I will be playing the dragon the girl finds. IF this takes more people, the two brothers and their dragons will become playable, but if it's a 1x1 you're stuck playing the girl. At least for the beginning of the 1x1. Anyone game?

Oh, lol. Jeez. Sorry. It's actually an either or thing. If you want it romance make it romance and if not that's fine.

I'm not going to make a skellie for mine, at least not for right now. I'll just have to be sure to mention it in the story.

Name: Ailyn Zedler
Age: 17
Appearance: 5'3", lean and strong. She's deeply tanned, with a few dark freckles across her button nose. Her face is round, but gets pointy at the chin. She has dimples in both cheeks even when she's not smiling, though they are much more pronounced when she is. Her eyes are a very dark brown, almost black, with a few gold flecks in them. Her eyelashes are long and dark, and her eyebrows are thick and full.
Her hair is very dark brown with a few blonde streaks, bleached by the sun. It falls a few inches past her shoulders, but she usually keeps it up in a messy bun held together with carved wooden or bone sticks. The hair by her face is a little shorter, hanging to her chin.
She usually wears a homemade leather jacket that's been dyed dark, simple, undyed leather pants, and fingerless gloves. She usually goes barefoot, so the skin on the bottoms of her feet is thick and strong.
Her left ear has three piercings in it, in a row, made from carved ivory.
Personality: She's stubborn as he.ll, and a fighter to the core. She'll protect what she cares about with her life. Though she angers easily, she can usually control it if she really wants to. Though she doesn't show it to everyone, she has a fun, more excitable side that makes her act like a little girl sometimes.
Bio: TBD
Other: She is very allergic to fish, has several odd quirks, ie, she won't eat anything blue, and runs down slopes sideways.

Where are we starting? Before she finds the dragon, or after?

((I have to go. I'll just start it here...Be back in a couple hourss probably.))

Ailyn tugged a spear out of the sheath on her back as she stepped silently and slowly through the trees, eyes flicking from the ground and back up constantly, checking for possible predators and watching the tracks at her feet.
A deer. A big one, from the size of the prints. Should feed at least ten, probably more.
She glanced to the left and immediately froze. What...? There was a new path, one she'd never seen before. It had obviously just been blazed, several ferns had popped up after being trampled.
Ailyn crept closer and knelt in the dirt. Something with claws had dug deep furrows into the ground as it passed. She frowned in confusion. She'd never seen tracks like this before...

Alastair groaned softly, collapsing into the dirt finally. He could feel his hot blood seeping from his side. That beast had really hurt him, but at least it realized it was up against a strong foe and fled before it did too much damage.
He wanted to keep moving, to get back to the cave where he stayed, but he was too weak and exhausted, and thirsty too. He closed his eyes, thinking maybe rest would make it all better.

Ailyn followed the tracks, keeping her ears and eyes sharp. Something red glistened on a leaf. Blood. She spotted more in a small pool a fot away. It was hurt, badly.
She frowned. That could make it weak and harmless, or desperate and savage. She readjusted her grip on the spear and checked to make sure her dagger was ready at her hip.
Something was wrong, but Ailyn couldn't quite place it as she followed the trail.
Hearing a low groan, she froze and glanced around, only her eyes moving. Nothing. Lowering herself to the ground, she continued on.
Then she saw it. A dragon. Her heart leapt into her throat and her breath caught. Then it came to her: It was too silent. That's what had been bothering her. There was no birdsong.
Curiosity and excitement battled with her fear for a moment, but curiosity quickly won out. It seemed pretty badly wounded. And she was smaller, she'd be able to manuever in the trees easier.
This is the stupidest idea you've ever had. She thought to herself giddily as she stood up slowly.

Alastair's eyes shot open, he gave a snort and tensed up, flashing his teeth at her and growling. His breath was rough and uneaven. The pain was making it hard to focus on this being. He couldn't bring himself to move into a defensive position, only lying there and growling.
She looks just like...no... He deemed his thoughts impossible before he even thought them. She wasn'r like him. She must have been somethine else. She smelt familiar, but was a stranger and something he hadn't seen before. He was afraid, and vulnerable. He feared he may have just met the one thing to finally kill him.

Ailyn held her arms out at her sides loosely to show that she wasn't hostile. At least, not until the dragon made the first move.
"Hello." She said simply. All the stories said that dragons were highly intelligent beings, and she just hoped that was the case. And that this one understood English.

Alastair still growled, but his eyes showed recognition, and he wasn't quite as hostile. He whimpered slightly in pain when he shifted a little in his position. He glanced at his wound and winced. Wow, it was worse than he thought.

Ailyn gestured to the dragon's wound. "Can I help?"
