"Yeah, get the wheelchair ready," Cole said as he started to carefully move himself off the tractor. When he got off he sighed, somehow he didn't fall off. Then he started crawling towards the stairs and made it up there.
Blake ran up the few steps and into the house, the sound of her cowboy boots against the floorboards echoing off the walls. She went up stairs and into her room, grabbing the wheelchair and going back downstairs, to the front door. She opened the wheelchair and helped the guy into it.
"Thank you," Cole smiled. He propped himself up onto the wheelchair.
Blake smiled back at him before pushing him into the house, down the hall and into the small guest room on the main floor. "Y-you can stay here as long as you would like... I'm going to go get my first aid kit, uhm, w-would you like anything to eat or drink?" She asked, fiddling with one of the braids in her hair.
"Just water for now," Cole said, "thanks."
Blake nodded quickly and ran from the room, grabbing the first aid kit and a bottle of water she walked back into the room and handed him the bottle of water, opening the first aid kit she handed him some pain medication as well.
Cole swallowed the pills and drank all the water. Water never tasted so good. When he finished he set the cup down and patiently waited while the girl tended to his wounds. Then he asked, "have I introduced myself to you yet?"
Blakely flicked her eyes up to his face briefly while she bandaged him up. "No..." She said in a small voice. She wasn't used to being alone with people... the only time she ever really spoke with anyone was for profit from the farm or when she went into town, and this man mad her very nervous for some reason.
"Oh," Cole nodded, "well then, my name's Cole. Nice to meet you." He smiled.
"Though I'm sure it would have been nicer under different circumstances." Blake said, her voice quiet. She grabbed a pair of scissors and cut away his torn and bloody shirt to get to the rest of the cuts. She blushed a little as she washed away the bloody with a damp cloth, "I'm Blakely..." She said, getting out a cotton pad and rubbing alcohol, dousing the pad in alcohol she bit her lip and glanced up at his face again. "T-this may sting a little..." She said before pressing the soaked cotton against one of the deeper cuts on his chest.
Cole groaned, he tensed as the searing pain shocked his body. He held on, though and kept his yelps and screaming to a minimum.
Blake winced and removed the cloth from the cut... it was pretty deep.... "I... think this one might need stitches..." she mumbled to herself as she wiped the alcohol over two less serious cuts. She set the now bloodied cotton on the bed before digging a small needle out of the kit.
"Just hurry up," Cole groaned. He was gasping for air and the pain made was numbing now. He didn't really know what was happening.
Blakely made quick work of stitching him up. Once she was done she gathered all the stuff and threw it away, returning the first aid kit to where it was before going back into the room and sitting on the edge of the bed. "How are you feeling?"
((Just wondering if you are still part of the Secrets in the Lab rp? If so you can just jump in at any time, Fallen and I have just pretty much been going back and forth with our characters, not very far in...))
"Pain," was all Cole managed to say. He was dazed, "that's for sure, I feel pain."
Blake sighed, "It should diminish once the medication kicks in..." she told him, fiddling with one of her braids. She didn't know what else to say to him, it wasn't even noon yet and so much had happened already today, she looked down at her dust covered cowboy boots.
((Oh, I still am... I forgot about it :p.))
((Haha! Next time you are on just remind me and I'll bump it up for you. All that has happened so far is one of my characters got dragged into the lab and is talking with one of Fallens characters and my other character as well as Fallens second character have met eachother outside of the labs and are running so they don't get caught.))
