"Let's just stick to Butterfly." And then she was gone.
Noah blinked. Then she was gone. He just rolled over. Falling asleep.
Lucy left the house, tottering on her high heels. She ached, and she didn't even need to look to tell that she looked like he.ll.
It was a long walk, but she hurried home to clean herself up and get herself respectable looking.
Noah woke a while later, then noticed something. He had no way to contact her. Oh... It didn't matter.. Right?
Lucy got home and took a shower, wishing that she could wash away the shame.
Noah sighed, then dressed. He checked the time. Visiting hours were open. He then got up then dressed. Heading to the nursing home.
((Whoa! You read my mind, din't you?! 0.o))
Lucy did her hair in a simple braid before heading out, dressed in a set of pale pink scrubs with a long sleeved shirt underneath.
(( this was my plan all along.... ))
"Gramma?" He whispered as he walked into the room. The lady looked at him and smiled. "Noah!" She grinned, her wrinkled face lighting up. He was the only one she remembered.
((In my bio for her, she worked at a nursing home...))
Lucy drove to work tiredly. Answering phone calls and working at a computer would be a relief after her night. Not too much moving around on blistered feet, and no having to walk when she could barely close her legs...
(( freaky. We always make the perfect cherries. Lol ))
He held her wrinkled hand, listening to her stories. The ones she told him the day before. And before. And before. But he listened to each one like it was the most wonderful thing.
Lucy got in to work late and ended up getting yelled at. She just puled her sleeve on lower and tried not to yawn. She was getting desperate inside. She couldn't afford to lose this job.
He sat there until his grandmother asked for a drink. And the button didn't work. Hi sighed, standing. He then saw a girl brig yelled at. "Hey.. Um... The call button on the bed of room 104 doesn't work. Can she have some water?"
Oh God. Him. It was him.
"I'll get it." Lucy said quickly. She ducked her eyes away, trying not to be noticed. He'd never recognize her now, but still.
She started to scurry off.
Noah watched her. She was pretty... Very pretty. In a sweet lovable way. He sighed. Her never get a girl like that.
Lucy took a shaky breath as she went to get the water, closing her eyes. Her head hurt. She just hurt. But she put on her sweet smile as she got the water.
Noah went back to the room he had told her, taking her hand again. Holding it as she smiled at him. "Noah! I haven't seen you in so long!" She exclaimed.
Lucy took the water to the room, nervously tugging her sleeve lower over her wrist.
Noah sighed, then she same in. He smiled, then reached to take it form her.
Lucy smiled sweetly as she passed the water to him. Her sleeve slipped, and for a moment, a corner of her tattoo could be seen.
Noah glanced down. Tattoo... He blinked, then took the water, sitting it on a table. His grandmother had already fallen asleep. "Wait!" He said catching her before she could leave.
