Anthony slipped off his horse and faced her. "Take one minute to calm down and explain, otherwise it'd be an hour of you shouting at me to go."
She looked up. "I'm supposed to marry him so we can rule. I ran away. He's power hunbgry and wants to be king, but he can't be unless I marry him."
(Just to be clear it's not power it's tradition. He's more...honor-hungry. But it's perfectly okay for her to think he's in it for the power.)
"And so now he's got men hunting for you and you're just going to run? Can't you just say no?" Anthony asked, getting back on his horse and offering her a hand.
"Hardly!" she snorted.
"Well come on, he might be catching up by now." Anthony said.
"Finally!" she breathed.
He rolled his eyes and pulled her onto his horse, whistling again and kicking its side. They took off into the forest.
Snaking her arms around his waist to stay steady, she closed her eyes, opening them only when the rider nudged her accidently.
They rode to the edge of the forest and he brought them to a halt. "Alright. we've made enough distance to talk." He slipped off the horse and tied it. "Where do you want me to take you? I can't have a woman hindering me in my journeys. I'm on very important bussiness."
"Like what?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Prancing through the forest and trampling rabbits? Sounds important..."
"I'm saving my entire family from unjustly being locked out of Heaven!" Anthony snapped. "What are you doing? Hiding!"
"Whoa. Locked out of heaven?!" she said, slightly more excited. "Explain."
"Someone in my family ticked off some witches and got us all cursed." Anthony mumbled, stroking his horse. "We're locked out of heaven, and now it can't be reversed. At least, not by the witches. Me and all my family, all our children and their children and so on...no Heaven. Either ghost or He.ll."
"Sounds kind of sucky..." she shrugged.
Anthony sighed. "My father gave his life hunting for the Fountain of Knowledge. My sister as well...and now I spend my life searching. It's the only way to find a sollution."
"Cool," she nodded. "So I guess you can drop me here, I mean, he wont come for a long time."
-Let us guide you to knowledge infinite...- Anthony mumbled in Elvish. He glanced up at her. "The elves have long guarded the secret of the Fountain. You wouldn't...happen to know where I can find it, would you?"
She looked away. "Uh, n-no. What fountain of Knowlege? Never heard of it."
Anthony narrowed his eyes slightly. "You know something." He mumbled. "But then, I guess you wouldn't tell me. You're supposed to be protecting it so men don't find it."
"Exactly..." she sighed. "So I guess this is goodbye, then..."
