If possible, I'd prefer to be female, but the setting/everything is up for discussion!
I'd be willing to give something a try with you if you want.
That would be fab! Thanks! Ideas?
Are you alright with medieval fantasy?
Sounds fun! I've never done one like that before, but I'm up for it.
Are you romance or anti-romance?
I prefer romance, if that's okay.
Romance is my usual. Are you detailed mature (i.e. full-out se.x scenes), fade-out mature (i.e. building up to that point and then moving on), or no mature?
Okay. And you said you'd prefer to be the famale, correct? Sorry, all these questions will just help me narrow things down to come up with a good story idea.
Yeah, I'm sort of crappy as guys.
That's perfectly okay. But usually in most any plot it's easier to make either the guy or the girl be more dominant a character in the storyline. Which would you prefer? Dominant or non-dominant?
Well, I've had an idea. Either, my character is a seravnt in the house of yours, or, my character is the daughter of a Lord and yours is the son of a different Lord and our fathers want usto get married? I'm not sure.
I've done enough servant stuff, I'm close to being burnt out on it. And the other idea just doesn't appeal to me. When I say medieval fantasy I mean medieval fantasy. Adventure, excitement, heroics, prejudice, racism, royalty.
Now then, this is sort of pulling from something I've done way-back-when, but what if there's this elven girl (expert hunter/gatherer), who ran away from home and now lives alone in the forest? Originally this character was intended to be fiery and prideful, and she would have to retain some of that for the story to work. It turns out she's actually a princess.
She meets my character one day when his horse tramples her kill. Being the man he is, he insists on making it up to her, and long story short, they end up traveling together, mostly because she's tired of the forest. There's a lot more to the idea, and I can tell you if you're interested, or we can come up with something else and chunk this idea aside.
That sounds great.
Alright, so allow me to continue explaining a little, and we can add/take away to make the story our own, but htis is based on how things turned out.
In this world, the way elves and royalty works is different than what you'd expect when you hear princess. In the center is the main palace, the only palace, build in the mountains and is sometimes called the Crystal Palace. The current queen and king live there. But the rest of it is not greats cities or anyting, it's actually just villages containing anywhere from 50 to 500 elves. There are seven villages that rule over all the others, two of the forest(East and West), one of the mountains, one of the plains, one of men(the only village that is right next to a human town), one of the caverns(underground), and one of the skies(a rather small village of magical elves actually based at the edge of a cliff).
Now, each village takes turns providing a king. There are thousands of laws and traditions that must be followed to select the king. In the case of twins being born, the first born becomes king. If it is both girls, neither of them is elidgable. But if a girl is born first, and then a boy, things become a little more complicated. They have to marry each other. If they don't that village refuses to give a king, and great shame is brought to the village. They lose their position of authority, and another village is selected to take their place. Now that is why the princess ran away. She was facing being forced to marry her own brother. And although that did not require her to sleep with him or anything, that did pretty much ruin her life. She's been gone 3-5 years (depending on how old you want to make her)
Her brother, being very set on tradition and customs and becoming king for the honor of his family, has been trying to hunt her down from the moment she went missing. More on his journeys and why he's taken so long will arise during the story. She knows he is hunting him, because he can use the fact that they are twins to take a moment of seeing through her eyes. She can tell when he's getting close and moves on. She wants to travel with this man who trampled her kill because he provides a way of getting away from her brother, who would do anything to bring her home.
There's also an extensive background on this man, but I can reveal it as we go. I will probably be introducing a sister later on, which I hope you'll be willing to play.
This is brill! I had a skeleton I've been working on, but can you send yours first so I can see what to include?
I've been dying to bring this story back. It got really far, but then my partner left.
You'll just need the following.
Name: (Please make it an elf-y name? Originally it was Zyaelia.)
Age: (Originally she was 17, but you can make her 16-19)
Wear: (Optional, including weapons.)
Appearance: Long brown hair to her waist. Piercing green eyes. Petite figure, dainty feet. Bruised from forest life.
Personality: Not easily impressed, fiesty and can be rude. Brave and cunning, always gets what she wants and sulks if she doesn't.
(Oh my gosh are you sure you're not just coppyng her? :P )
Appearance: Messy black hair that hangs in his blue eyes a lot. He has a lot of scars over his body. He is tall, and broad-shouldered, with plenty of hard-earned muscle.
Wear: Anthony wears armor almost all the time. People would think it's umcomfortable, but he wears it, looking like a knight in shining armor. He carries a sword, usually sheathed at his hip, and a bow with a quiver of arrows on his back.
