Aaron shook his head, cursing softly. This was definitely going to be a long mission. If the girl went loose-cannon on him, she'd only be ruining his own chances of a promotion- or more importantly- a raise. Striding after her, he opened his duffel bag to make sure he had everything he needed. Plasma rifle, vest, and a EyeSensor. Satisfied, he searched the lobby until he saw their client. A tall, lean, beanpole of a Martian with thick-rimmed glasses and a briefcase.
Dylan kept a blank look on her face as she walked into the lobby and continued towards the Martian. When she reached him she gave him a kind smile and introduced herself as one of his escourts, claiming that he would be safe and sound throughout the whole trip, though she knew she couldn't exactly promise that she did want him to feel a little more comfortable in their presence then he looked to be right now. He gave her a small jerky nod before looking past her to Aaron as he approached them.
(Do we have a name for Mr. Martian Man?)
The Martian stood, looking at Aaron. Walking up to the green man, Aaron offered a hand. As the Martian oddly shook it, Aaron spoke.
"My name's Aaron. This is my partner. We've been assigned to guard you. What's your name, sir?" Aaron asked, and the Martian replied,
"Alstadt. I know it's an Earthling name, but my parents always admired human languages."
"I find the name suits you well. Shall we move out?" Dylan asked, looking pointedly at Aaron for an answer. She wanted to get going sooner rather then later but seeming she didn't know their exact transportation for the trip she had to look to Aaron, guessing he knew more then she.
Aaron nodded, leading them to a parking garage. There, a sleek HoverHummer waited for them. From the outside, the car just looked like a luxury vehicle. But on the interior was armor plating, a weapons sytem, and numerous other military devices.
Dylan followed silently, keeping closer to Alstadt than to Aaron. When she saw the HoverHummer she grinned in excitment, running her hand over the glossy paint job. "Atleast the transportation is nice..." She said before opening the back door for the Martian and looking over to Aaron. "You driving?"
Aaron shook his head, tossing the keys to Dylan.
"You drive." He said, hopping in the passenger seat after placing Alstadt in the back.
((No problems :). )) Dylan threw her stuff into the back, grabbed the keys and went around, sliding into the drivers seat and starting it up. "Everybody ready.. Good." She said before moving out with a small smile on her face.
Aaron kept quiet. They were heading first to the highway. Flying wasn't safe with the Martian, especially not in Spain, of all places.
Dylan glanced over at Aaron for a brief second before looking back out the windsheild. It was awkwardly silent as they drove along and she just couldn't take one more second of it so she flicked on the radio, tunning it to a random station and keeping the volume low.
((Whenever you want, they could get attacked or something.))
Aaron glanced at the radio before returning his gaze to the landscape of the highway. The HoverHummer handled the road well, and he felt nothing but a slight vibration in his seat.
Dylan was relaxed as she drove, not expecting the bump when it came. She glanced in her rearview mirror and gave a silent curse as she gripped the stearing wheel. The next bump was much harder and the HoverHummer swerved a bit despite her efforts to keep it straight.
(That an okay start to an attack?))
