Song of the Blood Rose (1x1 Ded.)

EndlessSilenceOfMidnightDeath posted this thread...

This is a story about criminals, in a land that never wanted to move beyond their medieval age. In a land where magic is believed in, and people end up missing or dead far too often near the forest of dark magic. But our story isn't about magic, or mythical creatures. At least, it wasn't to start with.
There was once a powerful assassin,
Calling by others Blood Rose.
You knew it was him who killed you dead,
For a rose left atop your nose.
The song of Blood Rose was powerful,
Anyone hearing it struck with fear.
It was a tune, whistled by an unseen voice,
Only loud enough for you to hear.
Blood Rose was never caught,
Never seen, never found.
For all who ever met him,
Ended up six feet in the ground.
Blood Rose the great assassin,
Striking fear into even his fellows.
If he ever was caught they'd have sent him,
Straight to the gallows.
But Blood Rose is no more...
After two and a half years of killing and never being discovered for his true identity, Blood Rose completely disappeared. It's been another year and a half since then, and still, no sign whatsoever. At first it was believed a great good, but now the land is enslaved and starved by a very powerful man. So many times has someone tried to kill this man and failed. A secret guild of assassins has lost far too many members to their attempts, and now they come to the conclusion that they need Blood Rose.
They send their best man for the job to hunt this being down and get them to help. He happens to be an expert in his trade of tracking down people in hiding, even with practically nothing to go on. He searches for this assassin of near-legend, not even aware that Blood Rose is hardly what anyone thinks of him. Blood Rose was never a man, but merely 15 when he first killed. And Blood Rose isn't a he. Blood Rose is a girl.
Not even a month into his search, our tracker finds Blood Rose, sadly, he has no idea it's her. He has no idea he's found what he's been searching for. But she decides to travel with him, and pretend she can help. After all, who better to find someone in hiding than that very person?
I will be playing Blood Rose. This can be a romance or it can be a non-romance. And on top of that, I do need you to specify whether or not you do Mature Romance. Dedicated as in on daily, preferably for more than just one post.

It's not join so much as...I don't know, just doing it? Join, to me, feels like it only belongs to RP's of three or more people, not 1x1s.

Mkay. I'll do this RP. I can't post a skelly as of right this moment. Early tomorrow if required. If not, I can actively start posting tomorrow around, say, 10:30 PM EST up until 'bout 1:30-2:00 PM EST. That's gonna hold true for about 18 days, maybe more. Is that an issue? I just wanted to establish those things.

That's perfectly fine. Actually, tomorrow and the day after I'll be unable to post much at all as I'll be away from home.

Hold on now, there are requirements to follow through on. You haven't given me a skellie or your standing on maturity.

Oh right. I'm fine with mature romance and s.ex scenes, as long as they aren't too graphic. I can post a skelly later today.", any specific requirements?

Name: Preferably first a last.
Assassin Name: Self explained.
Age: No younger than 20, but not too much older than my character, which would be 19 about now.
Appearance: Please try to be descriptive and detailed here. I don't like people who just put in one or two lines. I'd like a description of what he usually wears on the job as well.
Symbol: Like with my character, there's the rose, you should pick a symbol for your character. It can be just about anything, from an item left or blood pattern or whatever.
Weapons/Specialty: Basically just name off his special skills and weapons of choice. Please try not to make him too super amazing, but he does need to have skill. Be sure to mention his tracking.
Bio: This is kind of optional.
Other: Totally optional.

I WOULD post my skelly now, but I'm on my mobile and it's very messy to try. Give me 30-45 minutes and it's yours.

Name: Sage Collins.
Age: 19.
Appearance: Sage has long black hair, but she keeps it pulled back. Her eyes are a steel gray, and her skin a deathly pale. Her features are actually fairly attractive, and she no longer hides her feminine beauty, which allows for the full effect. Still, if she were to dress up in her old outfit and attempt it, she could pass herself off as male. On the job, she would wear a long black hooded cloak, black boots, and tight-fitting clothes beneath light-weight black armor. She also keeps several straps to put pouches and holsters on which she wears hidden beneath the cloak.
Symbol; A rose dipped in your blood and left resting on your face, usually on your nose.
Weapons/Specialty: Sage specializes in a lot. She has stealth, acting, hand-to-hand combat, pick-pocketing, and more. Her weaponry consists more of long-range weapons like throwing knives and darts coated in paralyzing stuff. Her killing almost always draws blood.

Name:  Thresh Feros
Assassin Name(Alias):  The Twin Blades
Age: 21
Appearance: Thresh stands at an average height of 6' even. He has short, clean cut dark brown hair and sea-green eyes. Thresh keeps himself clean shaven. He is generally handsome, with tanned skin and a muscular body tone. What makes him so good at being an assassin is he could pass for any average-joe on the street, with the proper clothing and attitude. On the job, he prefers to wear dark grey clothing. A dark cloak, a hood over his head, a plain mask where only his eyes are visible, boots with fur(for quiet steps) on the interior, and two sheaths and a utility belt.
Symbol: A victim of Thresh will usually have his arms crossed and touching the shoulder of the opposite arm. This pose imitates holding two blades, just as Thresh does.
Weapons/Speciality: Thresh, first and foremost, is a hunter. He tracks, runs down, and kills his prey. He is a predator from head to toe, when he needs to be. He is also a skilled swordsman and bowman. Thresh's weapons consist of a compound bow, lashes across his back. The quiver for this bow contains four types of arrows: barbed, narrow-tipped, glass, and poison. Thresh also carries two short swords that he wields gracefully. He named them, as they are his trademark. Ebony and Ivory, named respectively for their blade color. As a last resort, Thresh carries a small knife and a neurotoxin.
Other: Thresh gets an incredible adrenaline high from hunting prey.

(I think we should do them meeting actually. He's been hunting a couple weeks and isn't having much luck but one lead he has leads him to Sage, because someone tipped him off she might know something about Blood Rose.)

(Sounds good. Here's goes nothin'. Is it alright if we start on a made up holiday? ex. Fire Moon? If not disregard that part of my post.)
Thresh was never one for big social areas, and taverns were some of his least favorite places to dwell out of all of them.
It's just a hub for scum and swine. He thought to himself as he shouldered his way past the throngs of drun.kards and revelers. Fire Moon was the biggest festival of the year, and this village seemed to really party when the time came around.
As Thresh made his way past the bar in the tavern, he narrowly avoided a missile spray of puke land on the floor near his boots. The perpetrator smiled sheepishly at Thresh before tipping his head back and continuing to chug his ale. Thresh snarled and idly kicked out the legs of the chair from underneath the man as he moved further into the tavern.
Eventually, Thresh made it past the massive clog of partiers(sp?) into the darker corners of the tavern. Sitting there was the man Thresh had come to meet, Darius Nocav. He claimed to know somebody who had a few tips pertaining to the location of the Blood Rose, the kingdom's most notorious assassin.
"You had to bring me here on the most revelous night of the year?" Thresh spat, leaning forward and facing the man. Darius looked up, he seemed a bit tipsybut nonetheless he focused when he recognized who Thresh was.
"Ah, Thresh. Well, it is the only time I am able to see you. Tomorrow I pack up my wares and leave for the city, to make a better profit," Darius said, and then waved his hand in front of his face as if to swat a fly, "But you didn't come here to here my story. You came here to find out about the Blood Rose."
"Yes. You said that you knew someone who had a bit of information on the Blood Rose."
"That I did. And that specific person is Sage Collins. She lives to this tavern, about three houses down the path on the left." Darius said, and then took a sip from his ale.
"Thank you Darius," Thresh replied, and then dropped a small pouch of silver coins onto the table, "For your troubles."
Thresh stood and exited the tavern, and made his way to the house Darius had directed him to. As he curtly knocked on the door, Thresh thought to himself,
Sing, Blood Rose, sing...

(Wow. I'm actually impressed by that starter post. Now I feel small v_v)
Sage sat on her bed, whistling her signature tune as she sharpened a knife. She didn't like partying, or festivals, or holidays. She usually stayed locked up in her small house and didn't come out for days when Fire Moon came around.
Someone knocked at her door, and annoyance flashed through her. "Go away, no business tonight!" She shouted at the door.
Business...it made her sigh. Was that what she called it now? Sage felt a little ashamed to think she'd gone from the most nutorious assassin to a babysitter and seamstress. She missed the old days, but then she didn't miss certain parts of it.
She stopped dwelling on that when she remembered someone was at her door. She put the knife in her pocket and soundlessly moved to the door, listening to see if they were still there.
