The wolf nudged the log off of me before pushing me to my feet with his muzzle. My legs wobbled and I fell onto his tall form. His body came up to my shoulders, and he wasn't even on his hind legs.
He nosed my shoulder. "Climb on," he growled.
The sassy, sarcastic part of me that wasn't in pain hissed in my ear Climbing on a wolf from a rival school is definately not approved behavior. However, my chest did hurt and my limbs didn't want to follow my lead. So, against my better judgement, I clamored onto his back, wrapped my fingers in his midnight black fur, and hung on for dear life.
He started jogging back into the forest, back towards the school. I laid my head against the scrawling print of his last name on his jacket. Dunlainge.
He stopped a few yards from the edge of the Willows, letting me down away from the path. Laying down before me, he growled, "Okay?"
"Yeah," I whispered. "But I might have broken a rib. Or two."
A low growl emanated from his throat. "Fix?" he rumbled, waving his paw like a wand.
I chuckled, wincing as it hit the rib. "Yeah, I can fix it. I just...need my wand." My tone fell as I realized I'd left it in my room.
"Where?" he asked, raising up on his haunches in anticipation.
I chuckled. "Down boy, it's in my room, so we can't get it."
"Phone?" he suggested. "Call...friend."
"Good idea," I replied, pulling out my phone. "I'll just call Felicity."
He cocked his head in confusion.
He hummed in response.
I called, to no answer. "Great, she isn't answering. What am I supposed to do now?"
It was then that Skylar turned up.
Taking a long loop around the forest, Felix spotted the Everlee girl again. She had just decked a werewolf without much issue. That interested Felix, and he materialized next to her, matching her stride.
"I would say girls like you have no place in the forest, too easy to get hurt. However, watching you deck the lights out of the Big Bad Wolf over there, I'm eating my words." Felix flashed her a grin, and said,
"I don't think I ever caught your name?"
I noticed comotion going on where Izzy and her lame friends were sitting. "Wow what idiots....those werewolves are seniors they don't stand a chance. I wonder if I should help???" I thought staring at them from the very top of the bleachers. I watched as one of the girls shoved the werewolf back doing a perfect summersault. "Nah they got it!" I thought turning my head back to Izzy's group where one of the werewolves still stood. hAs I continued to stare at him he reminded me of one of my sister's friends, Christian. He too was a werewolf. "What are the odds?" I sighed to myself. He then made eye contact with me. "Skye? Is that you?" He called forgeting he was arguing with Izzy's group. I stood up quickly and approached the group. "No it's Skylar."
"Skylar? I haven't seen you in ages! I didn't know you went here?"
"Yeah It's my first year here."
"How's Skye?" He asked full of excitment.
"Umm..you don't know do you?"
He shook his head.
"Skye is dead." I said coldly.
"I'm so sorry. I know how you must feel."
"You don't. And I certainly don't want anyone's pitty. And can you do me a favor and leave Preppy and her little lame group alone. Your making them more annoying then they have to be. I'm sure there's freshman that need scaring. " I said bluntly.
Christian walked away not saying another word to Izzy or her group.
Everlee didn't jump this time when the boy from earlier appeared at her side. She laughed a bit and pulled her curls away from her face, holding them behind her head for a second before releasing them, allowing for them to fall back around her shoulders. "I am by no means fragile." She smiled at him. "Everlee Ackers, but people call me Ever for short. And you are?"
((Crap did I mess up???))
((Did i mess up?))
((Not quite sure...))
((Does this make sense to anyone?))
(I'm a bit confused. It seems like Hans and Siddie are the same person. It just seems odd to me, I'm not accusing anything lol. I'm just a bit confused on perspective and point of view here.)
(Crap, Cut my backstory out on accident)
Backstory: Having a talent for fire magics Alfred once accidentally set his house ablaze, shortly after which he was placed in special schooling and was kept under a careful eye. However, during that accident, his mother passed in the flames. He remains scarred to this very day and fears that very magic which he is learning now.
(And dialogue is a bit lost on me, I'm confused as to where the conversations are going.)
((Maybe I should write in 3rd person then.. but im writing in 1st perso for Skylar in that post))
((Awesome! So I'm not the only confused one here! I've always writen in third person for roleplay and other writing in first person are confusing me soooo much! I feel as if I'm in a different rp then everyone else :S ))
"Felix. People call me....Felix." He replied, extending out a hand.
"Y'know, I'd love to find out where you learned your moves." He said, now walking with her. This girl seemed a bit more approachable than Team Prep Izzy and Felicity. At least she was...calm.
"How long have you been going to S.O.M? You don't look like a frosh." He asked, throwing the hood of his sweatshirt up so as to avoid and wolf contact.
((The only reason I started writing in 1st person was because that's what Hans is doing. But I usually do my RP in 3rd person))
(Sigh, I always notice these new threads late, No matter how soon you tell me Terra!)
Name: Alfred Arcadeath
Appearance: Dirty blonde hair kept short into a buzz cut. His skin having a 'permanent-tan' given his magic. His right eye is a deep Ocean blue, whereas his left eye is a constrasting crimson.
Backstory: Alfred has had a talent for fire magic since a young age, discovering it when he accidentally set his house ablaze. Ever since that day he has been watched carefully since then. Although, in that inccident his mother perished, and due to such he has a slight fear for the very magic he studies.
Everlee shook his hand quickly, "Nice to meet you." She sighed and shoved her hands into the pockets of her dress. "I've had lots of practice over the years and lots of spare time... I taught myself." She glanced over into the trees at her side before looking over at him. "I've been here for a few years... I'm just not much of a people person so I'm not very well known. I stay in my room alot." She explained, before stopping abruptly and turning to stare into the trees again at her side. "Sh!t..."
Felix turned with her, squinting to look around.
"What do you see?" He asked, in a low whisper. Not wanting to get into any sort of serious fight unprepared, Felix was ready to Shadowform and ditch.
Maybe that wouldn't be the smartest idea. Nevertheless, he wasn't going to fight a gigantic lineman. Much less a werewolf lineman.
Everlee closed her eyes for a brief second, the tattoo on her shoulder blade aching slightly. She turned to Felix, "Werewolf headed in this direction, still to far away to be harmful in any way. If we continue on quietly he should turn around... I think we're close enough to the school to make it before he'd reach us anyways though." She shrugged her right shoulder and groaned a bit at the pain that caused.
"Hey, you okay?" Felix asked, placing a hand on her arm and looking Ever over.
"Let's keep going." Felix suggested, turning forward towards where he thought was the school. Despite being prone to the dark, Felix was having trouble seeing in the dark. Just as the lights of the school were coming into view, Felix felt the ground dip.
He never expected the fall as he tumbled through dead leaves and yelped in pain as he hit the ground at the bottom of the hill.
Faintly, he heard the snarls of a wolf start to grow louder. Eventually, the thing was close enough to see. Felix cursed and grabbed Everlee by the wrist and began to run,
