Arianna's heart melted. "Enjoy!" Said Arianna fixing her plate to her liking. "So...I have something to tell you guys..." She said nervously spinning her fork between her fingers.
Cater looked up from his food and stared at Arianna. "What's up?" he asked through a mouthful of food. If Mari wasn't sitting so far from him she would have slapped him for his disrespectfulness. Instead she let her anger fume away as she asked Arianna, "What is it?"
Hans was starltled by the fact that someone was going to make an anocment. "Um... go ahead?" Hans wasn't sure of how to react.
"I received some creepy phone call last night after everyone left. I think it might be a link to the man who attacked me yesterday." Arianna told them, setting down her fork.
Hans put his fork down on his plate, his hand too shaky to hold it any more. He gulped and stambered, "W-What did t-they s-say to you?" Hans looked down and then back up and pushed his glasses up his nose.
"I panicked! I just hung up." Arianna said looking deeply into Hans eyes.
Hans sat back from her looking into his eyes. No one ever looked into his eyes. "Uh... thats not good." Hans dropped his eyes and looked at the ground
Cater had a hard time swallowing his food as he pounded on his chest a bit. Once he was able to get it down he turned to Arianna and said, "What?!" very weakly. Mari put her fork down as well, glancing at Cater who looked furious. "Let me see your phone," he told Arianna, holding out his hand. Mari was a bit scared. She never seen Cater this serious before.
Without saying a word Arianna pulled her cell phone from her pocket and placed it into Cater's hand.
Cater went into the recent calls and blocked the unknown number from Arianna's phone. He then added his phone number and gave it back to her. "If another number tries calling you again, call me," he said not as a suggestion but as a command.
Hans watched the two go back and forth. Cater was so serious... Hans looked down pushing his glasses up. He could never do that, handle phone calls like that or be that serious. Hans shivered, they couldn't ignor this, but what could a bunch of teenagers do?
"Okay" Said Arianna taking her phone back. "You're so sweet!" Arianna blushed.
Cater came back to his normal self and smiled. "I just don't want any of us to get hurt," he replied and took one last bite of his breakfast before sighing happily. "Ahh~ That was delicious. Thank you for breakfast!"
"T-thanks." Hans said, Cater could switch so easily, Hans was still caught up on the phone conversation. With a slight shake of the head, he said "It was good."
Mari tried to smile after what just happened. "Ah, well I just cooked the bacon. Arianna did the french toast. You're a really good cook Arianna. It really was delicous."
"Thanks!" Said Arianna. "Is everyone done?"
"It seems so," Mari answered, glancing around the table and Cater nodded. "If only I wasn't stuffed then I'd eat lots and lots of your french toast!" He said.
Arianna's cheeks turned red as an apple. "Well I'm glad you liked it!" The suddenly there was a loud knock at the door. Everyone froze. Arianna quickly glanced at Cater not saying a word.
Cater glared at the door like it was the reason for disturbing their peace. No one was supposed to know they were using this building. Cater made sure that everyone's presence was hidden the moment they step foot in the apartment. Mentally sighing, he scooted his chair back and stood up. "I'll get it!" He said with forced cheerfulness, motioning for Mari, who got up from her seat, to sit back down. He walked to the door and opened it and found a man standing there. "Yes? Hello sir. What do you need?" Cater asked smiling but the irritation could be clearly heard in his voice.
Hans knew it was wrong. Cater shouldn't have opened the door. They know that they were in there. Hans stood up, his normaly shaking hands, still as they folded his napkin and placed it on the tabel carefuly. He walked to the door as the man forced it open and ran into the room. He yelled at them, "You freaks!" Hans carefuly went up to him and took off his glasses, exposing his brilent green eyes. Hans said, "Get out of here now. You don't want us freaks to do something to you do you?"
