Ellie shrugged. "I could eat..." She told him slowly. "Where would we go? I don't know what you like..."
Miles smiled at her, "I rely dont care where we go, I'm not picky.." he grinned at her again, squeezing her hand.
Ellie sighed. "I also don't have much money and don't want to suggest something expensive if you're buying..." She told him.
Miles looked around, a small USB rising to his cheeks, "I'm sorry... I'm not good with this, I do reay... Go into the city that much, so I have no idea... And I have money..." be gazed at her.
Ellie chewed on her lip as she thought it over. "Why don't we just get burgers?"
Miles nodded, "ok... Burgers sound great!" he grinned at her. "come on cutie..." his grin widening as they moved along.
Ellie brushed bright red when he called her 'cutie'. She'd never had that before. It caught her completely off guard and she was lost as to what to say now.
Miles grinned slightly at her silence, "ok? Where is it? Like I said... I haven't been in town in awhile..." he signed deeply.
Ellie took his hand. "Just come on, it's on main street. It's the best in town." She told him, smiling again.
Miles nodded, glancing around. It was so loud, very big.... So not like his peaceful forest. "this is really nice...." he gazed at her.
Ellie shrugged and led him to the small diner. They walked inside and Ellie was greeted by name. They sat and got drinks. Ellie looked at Miles. "So where do you live?"
Miles panicked slightly, "uh... Well, it's a really small neighborhood... I know everyone in it..." he looked down at their hands.
Ellie saw the panic in his eyes and sighed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to ask if it was a question you're uncomfortable with. Just trying to make conversation."
Miles shook his head, "no... It's ok..." he smiled. "it's just... My neighborhood... There are never really any... Guests..." he sighed. "my family is weird..."
Ellie nodded, deciding against any further questions on the matter. It was obviously a topic to avoid, she thought.
Miles sighed deey, great... He was just doing awesome wasn't he?! Not. "tell me about yourself?" he asked her with a small mile.
Ellie sighed. "I honestly don't like talking about myself so much. I've lived in a crowded house with four brothers and one sister up until I graduated, at which point I moved here, renting an apartment with a friend."
Miles nodded slightly, "whose your friend?" he asked her with a small smile. He was glad she didn't push.
"Amber. But I'm thinking about trying to get my own apartment. I've had about as much of that girl as I can stand." Ellie mumbled.
Miles nodded slightly, he didn't really have any friends, he had one close one, but other than that... He had no one except his mother and father. And he hardly ever talked to them anymore, they were both always trying to make him find a girl in the tribe and such..he didn't like details.
