Miles laughed, "nice.... Fine, you've got me, but they still are really intelligent" he sighed deeply. "Mini likes you..." he caught Mini staring at her. "try not to confuse it as the lunch stare...."
Ellie laughed softly. "Are you sure about that? Because popular votes call me yummy." She teased. "And I still don't have an answer on your age."
Miles laughed with her, "my age?" he made a face. "I'm pretty old...." he sighed. "I'm nineteen... And a half" he grinned at her.
Ellie laughed. "Oh so you have to add the 'and a half' do you? I'm nineteen."
Miles laughed, "yeah, I do, have to let you know just in case you try to flirt with me, but I don't think it matters" he smiled shaking his head. "but I'm still older" he teased slIghtly, winking at her then turning back to the habitat.
Ellie laughed. "Flirt? What on earth gives you the idea you're even in the same league with me?" She teased. "If anyone would be doing the flirting, it's you."
Miles waggled his eyebrows at her, "I am? I didn't notice?" he sighed, and chuckled shaking his head. He liked her, she was pretty, and funny but she was right, he could never actual take her out, he might not even see her again.
Ellie smiled softly, watching him with fondness in her eyes. She really liked him. She half-hoped he'd have the courage to ask her out. She was pretty sure she could see in his eyes that he wanted to.
Miles looked away, leaning heavily against the rail, he was almost tempted to throw himself in. Why couldn't he be a normal teenage guy? He looked up at her with a small smile, "any other exhibits you like?" he asked her straightening.
Ellie sighed and shrugged. "I like the reptiles exibit. I like looking, but I don't like touching. What about you?"
Miles nodded, "too scaly for me..." he shuddered, making a face. "I like the pandas exhibit, they are pretty cute..." he smiled, looking over at her.
Ellie smiled. "I like the pandas too. But nothing can beat out the big cats."
Miles shook his head, "never, they are pretty amazing...." he sighed. "hmmm... I guess I can face the scaly creatures with you" he grinned at her. "let's go!"
Ellie blinked, slightly surprised. "Who invited you?" She asked, quirking a brow. Before smiling and taking his hand. "Come on. We'll go look at the reptiles, and then the pandas."
Miles thought she was serious, but then she took his hand and he relaxed. He felt his skin warm slightly, oh god, he better not start blushing! "ok..." he murmured, glancing at her face. "let's go see the scaly little creatures...."
Ellie laughed. "Oh come on, they're not so bad!" She led him through the zoo to the reptiles, a smile premanently on her face it seemed.
Miles made a choking sound, "yuck, they are ugly, smell funny, and they shed everywhere! Do you know how horrible that must be for the people who take care of them?!" he raised and eyebrow at her, but the laughed.
Ellie giggled. "i don't want to take care of them. I just like looking at them. They can be intelligent too, you know."
Miles rolled his eyes, "yep, nothin says intelligent when your shedding and pering a over the place!" he threw one hand in the air crazily then brought it back down as they walked in.
Ellie rolled her eyes. "Okay, excuse me using stereo-types, but think of a nerd with really bad dandruff."
