Amos wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in. His lips pressed harder against hers even as his head screamed at him to stop.
Cassy melted, her eyes fluttering closed. He was her first kiss, and this...this was just amazing.
Amos pulled back a second to breath but quickly kissed her again, even harder this time. His heart was beating quickly when he finaly pulled back. Sundenly he caught up with his head. "Oh god, I have to go, I can't be in here!" He started to panic.
"Amos no..." Cassy gripped his shirt tighter. "Please...stay..." She looked at him with such pitiful and pleading eyes.
"Cassy.." Amos's breathing got heavier as he tried to control his panic. His brow knit together he said, "I have to, I'm not allowed to be in here. Oh I'm so going to get h*** for this!" Amos leaned down and pressed hid lips against hers again.
Casse wrapped her arms around his neck, partly in passion and partly in fear that he'd leave if she didn't cling to him. She pulled back from the kiss. "Amos...there has to be some exception to you being here..."
Amos hesitated. "Well, If your in danger, I can be in the house." He said drawing out the words. Quickly he pulled her in for anouther kiss. "But I don't want that, I have to go Cassy." He murrmered.
"Does being in danger of lonliness count...?" Cassy asked hopefully, resting herhead on his shoulder.
Amos stroked her hair and let out a breath. "I wish it did, but hey you got to get along by yourself. I can't always come out." He pulled back and kissed her hard. Then he heard a car door slam. Amos pulled himself completly out of her arms. "I've got to go Cassy!"
Cassy sighed. "Fine. But stay close, okay?" Cassy kissed him quickly before going to greet her family coming home.
Amos ran down the hallway and out of the house. Thank goodness he had gotten out before the family found him. Amos crawled back under the porch and found the trapdoor into the ground. The room was small, but useable. Amos sighed, he was so in for it.
Of course they remembered at the last minute it was her birthday. Cassy was given a small amount of cash and a half-eaten piece of cake. She sighed and went outside, sitting on the porch and poking at her cake with a fork.
Amos didn't turn on the radio right away. Sighing he grabed some food and ate for a mintue. He picked up a book but put it down just as quickly. Sighing, he wished he was back with Cassy, kissing her. He wanted more, but he also had to make sure that didn't happen.
It just so happened that it was Cassy's presence on the porch that protected Amos. Had she not been there at that very moment, a figure would have crept down to Amos' hiding place and confronted him about his disregard for the rules. But she was there, and Amos was safe, at least for the moment.
Amos knew that someone was proably going to come. He sighed, he just couldn't stay back into the shaddows any longer! Amos wanted to go back into the house, and go to Cassy.
Cassy finally set the plate down, pushing it away from her. She sighed deeply, closing her eyes. "Hey Amos? It's okay for you to be with me if we're not in the house, right?"
Amos heard Cassy down in his room. Amos bit his lip, he had no choice he had to go to her, but his a** was going to be kicked for this. He scrambled out of the room and out from under the porch. "Only if we go down there."
Cassy furrowed her brow. "You live under my porch?" She asked, hardly believing it. After a moment of consideration, she nodded. "Okay. Want some cake?"
Amos smiled, "No I don't eat much and I hate sugar." Amos grabbed Cassy's hand and led her under the porch and through the trapdoor. Becoming self consious he started to put things away in the already very neat room.
Cassy bit her lip. "You...you live here?" She looked around, it didn't look like a very nice place to live. She started feeling bad for him.
